The Experience

We are looking for a clean, responsible, easygoing and quiet volunteer. Be aware we are not a party hostel, but the opposite, we are in a familiar building, so we need to keep it chill and quiet. We are looking for someone to help us with the night shift 3 days a week: from 0:00 to 8:00. Your duties will be welcoming guests, late check-ins, early check-outs, cleaning the common areas. Everything will be teached and it is all in a list.

I had a great time at Soul the hostel!! The staff are super nice and helpful. The hostel is very calm and the location is pretty good. Work is chill, you just have to adapt your sleeping schedule. You have a lot of time to explore Barcelona or do whatever you want!! Thanks for everything :)

I really loved my experience in the hostel. The staff and other volunteers were all really welcoming and friendly and I had a really great time. I would highly recommend this hostel to other travellers as it is great for meeting new people, practising languages and getting to know Barcelona.

Very nice host but is not involved enough in the running of the hostel. Volunteers that were their longest would take advantage of the newer volunteers. When complained to the host was told to work it out. I left early because some of the volunteers came back drunk and were causing a lot of problems being loud and obnoxious. When I spoke to the host he said he would come in the morning. This was at 12:15 am and my shift was from 12 - 8 am. It's not my job to deal with drunk co worker. I was not going to stay their and continue to be treated disrespectful.
