I absolutely loved my time at LanCul! I made so many great memories with the other volunteers and the students at the coliving! As other people point out, the dorms are a bit outdated, but they are still very comfortable to stay in. I would definitely recommend volunteering here, and I can't believe how fast a month flew by!

Taking part in LanCul was one of the best decisions I could have made coming to South Korea, and as my first volunteering opportunity! Andy and the rest of the team were so welcoming from the get-go, I felt like part of the group instantly. I enjoyed all aspects: from sparking English conversations with locals, to making friends with other volunteers from all over the world, to exploring Busan together and learning more about Korean the coliving society. Andy was also very accommodating, communicative and understanding when it came to some schedule changes. I hope to return one day 🤗

Had a lovely time working at the coliving, Andy is really accommodating and nice. The shared flat is well located near Gwangalli beach and the work is not difficult. The people who come to talk at the coliving are mostly students from the universities nearby, so easy to talk to!

I had a great time at Lancul! The work on its own is easy and fun getting to meet locals and learning more about their daily life the coliving. The host Andy was always fast with answering questions and had no trouble at all. The dorm is not in the best shape but everything else was amazing. I really recommend joining and don't doubt that you will have a great time in Busan.

At first, I was set to stay for 5 weeks, but after one week I decided to stay for 2 more weeks as I was enjoying my time at LZone a lot. The experience itself is great and I would highly recommend it if you want to meet travelers and volunteers as you will meet a lot of people. The dorm and the coliving are quite close and in a great area, Busan is a lovely city. The experience can change a lot on the person you are and the people you meet, but if you are an adaptable person, I really think you will enjoy it.

This is my first trip on WP as well as my first time outside of America. Everything really lined up here because my goals were to meet wonderful souls, teach boxing/learn martial arts, and experience Korean the coliving. What I got was so much more, I've fallen in love with the wonderful people in our dorm. No matter how long I knew them, the dorm was like a family. . The work itself is very easy, and Andy is great about switching your shift if needed. The flexible scheduling and lovely people are amazing. The dorm isn't perfect, but it's home.

LanCul was an amazing volunteer opportunity. While the dorms can be improved, the coliving was friendly and made the place a home.
