My time at Lancul was exactly what I had hoped for! My goal was to be able to connect with international travellers and local Koreans alike and this experience truly allowed me to do that. I also really wanted to improve my Korean language skills and the amazing manager at the cafe, Jas, went out of her way to connect me with students I could practice with outside of cafe hours which was so helpful :) I got to learn so much about Korean the coliving everyday life through my conversations with the students and lancul, who came from all walks of life from kids to young adults to older folks.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I truly enjoyed it. The fellow volunteers, as well as the guests in the language café, have all been really sweet and it has been a pleasure to get to know them. It is also easy to communicate with Andy, if problems arise (i.e. being sick) or if you need to adapt the schedule. I hope I will be able join again in the future!

I stayed at LanCul for about 3 weeks and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The dorms are clean and comfortable and everyone does their part to keep it that way. The work was great as well, I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy it that much as an introvert, but it was a lot of fun and meeting so many locals as well as other travelers was so rewarding, the schedule is also flexible. As the work only takes a few hours of the day, there is a lot of time to explore interesting places all around Busan, of which there are many of. Overall an amazing experience and I'd definitely recommend it !!

This experience was an absolute blast! The team is super friendly and very easy going as well as the students. One of the locations is a bit far from the city but its a nice neighborhood were you have everything you need. Totally recommend this magical place. I had the best time!

Busan is a lovely place to visit and I enjoyed my time there and this program :) The managers and everyone made me feel welcomed. The job is straight forward and simple. There are some challenging students, but most of the students are enjoyable to speak with. You really can dive into the coliving here and meet plenty of locals.

I miss it already! Volunteering at Lancul was such a great experience, everyone was welcoming. You work 3 hours a day, afternoon shift or evening shift which gives you the time to explore the city. The dorm is also very clean and organized. This experience made me very happy, I was able to make friends with locals and also international travelers which I loved ! :) Thank you Andy, thank you Jas, and thank you Diana <3 PS : if it was not clear enough, yes I would recommend this place to volunteer

I was a volunteer at the coliving Busan for three weeks. Andy provided the volunteer schedule in advance, and was supportive, responsive, and flexible. The position was 15 hours per week, and I was able to explore Busan in my personal time. It was a great opportunity to connect with locals and other volunteers, and learn more about Korean the coliving! Thank you for the experience, Andy!

I had an amazing time at the Lancul! The people coming to the Lancul are really diverse so it was very interesting to meet so many different people! The dorm is conveniently located in a great area! Would definitely recommend this place if you would like to explore Busan and get in touch with local people :) Thanks for everything!

Loved this experience! Volunteering was 3 hours of free conversation, basically chatting with locals, such a fun way to meet Koreans. That said, you should be comfortable talking with people. Andy is an awesome host, easygoing and supportive when you need help or want to adjust your schedule for a quick trip. Volunteers stay together in a shared apartment. Dorms are a bit snug but location is great, near a lively student area and the beach. Busan is an amazing city, with ocean and mountains the city and nature offer so much to explore. Highly recommended, I would do it again.
