Andy seemed pretty nice and everyone I met was lovely, I couldn't stay here do to the living conditions. While I don't expect a perfect pristine place, I did expect it to have a basic level of cleanliness and look more like the photos which seem. Immediately I was shocked by the building which looked abandoned inside and out, but that wasn't really an issue. The actual cleanliness of the place was pretty disgusting. The work was a bit intimidating and awkward, but it seems like something that could be fun if you get used to it. The place would need a good deep clean to improve it.

Couldn't have hoped for a better experience. Staying at Lancul for 1 month was absolutely amazing. Home was filled with the most kind and open minded people. Also, I'm so glad I could meet so many locals who wanted to exchange stories with me at the community. At some point, we become friends and this is a precious gift. Making them feel comfortable speaking the community is a great reward as well. Andy is a great host. This the community experience is what you are looking for if you like to chat and are interested to know people. It went too fast, but I have loads of sweet memories. Forever grateful!

I had the most amazing time at LanCul Busan. The staff, other volunteers and students made this such a pleasant experience. The 'work' is very minimal and the hours allow you to plan activities both during the day before shift and enjoy the evenings out the community afterwards. In addition, the location (PNU area) was super convenient. This felt like a home away from home and I look forward to returning soon! If you are looking for a placement to meet more locals, I can't think of a better place.

Lzone is such an amazing place, I totally loved my stay there! The working hours at the community are light (3 hours/day). With some customers, it will feel like chatting with a friend, and some others are harder to talk with. I loved having the opportunity to talk with so many Koreans and learn more about their culture. The dorm is not very big and is shared with up to 9 other people, so don't have too high expectations! But you meet other volunteers from all over the world and make precious friendships. I actually really liked that part of the experience too. I hope to return to Lzone soon!

Andy is the best host you could ever have, always available, ready to help and give advice, kind and fun! the community the community allowed me to meet so many wonderful people, both locals and other volunteers and I learned so much about South Korea, Korean people and culture. This experience was so much fun! I met and talked with locals and gained a better understanding of what life is like in Korea through the community the community. I made new friends from other countries as well as from Korea. There was plenty of time to explore Busan on the days I was scheduled at the community. Andy is a very accommodating host, and helped me find time for weekend trips to Seoul and other cities. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to learn more about Korea.
