The Experience

Nosso hostel é tranquilo, com clima familiar e a maioria dos hóspedes vem para praticar kitesurf ou aprender. Temos uma escola de kite dentro do hostel. Precisamos de voluntários para recepção e bar. Organizamos jantares 1/2x por semana com nossos próprios chefs, e os voluntários nos ajudam a divulgar os jantares, organizar a mesa e lavar os pratos. *As aulas de kite e aluguel de equipamentos não estão inclusos no programa de voluntariado.

The hostel has a very social and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to meet people and enjoy your time. The tasks are clear and well-organized thanks to Juancho and Lucy, and there's plenty of free time to explore Cumbuco and its amazing kitesurfing scene. What I really enjoyed about the hostel is that the work is relaxed and not too difficult. The tasks are straightforward, and doing check-ins is a great way to meet new guests and have a chat with them. The breakfast at the hostel is fantastic, and Lucy is super flexible. I would love to come back!

Lucy and Juancho were so welcoming and helpful. The hostel is a great place to meet other travelers and make good friends. The work was not hard at all and Lucy was flexible about the hours. I'm truly grateful for my experience at the hostel. Thank you so much Lucy and Juancho <3

I couldn't have a better first experience as volunteer! Being at the hostel is like being at home. A place to meet a lot of nice people from different cultures that come to Cumbuco for Kiteboarding. Lucy is a lovely person with a clear communication of what is expected to be done.

I really enjoyed my time in the hostel. I met many new people that I believe I will stay in touch with and progressed soo much with my the hostel surfing! This will be the best experience for those who want to learn kiting or are already kiters. Tasks were easy and working hours were told clearly and in advance. There is lot of time when you can just relax in beautiful garden that the hostel has, excersice, do yoga, or have a good food or massage after kiting in the city. I hope to come back someday :)

Simply the hostel is the greatest place in Cumbuco! What a charming and welcome environment I could have a chance to enjoy! The job is pretty nice and easy and Lucy and Juan are amazing people who made me feel comfortable in this experience as a volunteer. I recommend it to everyone who wants to colaborate in a multicultural community and wants to have contact with nature and the hostel surf!
