The lodge is placed in a beautiful natural spot, however, there is not much to do and the host didn't actually gave me much to do as part of my chores; in my opinion a really unorganized and irresponsible person. I was really wanting to feel like being part of something, but I ended up feeling like an outsider most of the time.

During my week at the lodge, I felt like in my own little house at the heart of the moutains.. :) Los Farallones del Palacio are great to climb (but, god, tiring), the view is awwwesome ! The host, Jorge, is really nice and wants to make sure you feel at home. The tasks are easy, and the air is pure :) So many thanks !

Beautiful and remote place 2 hours up north from Bogota (by bus). Very good place to spend some quiet time, connect with nature and explore the surrounding mountains. The work is very reasonable and basic (cleaning, greeting guests, helping with whatever needs to be done, ...) and not to much. Jorge is a very welcoming and friendly host. I felt very much welcomed and at home and I could recharge my batteries for my future travels. Thanks a lot! Highly recommended!
