Staying at Wayuu hostel was an incredible experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but what truly sets this place apart is Gigi. She has a huge heart and is always ready to help others. The hostel also actively engages in social impact initiatives, which made my time there even more meaningful. If you're looking for a place that cares about the community and its guests, Wayuu hostel is the perfect choice. Can't recommend it enough!

Este voluntariado fue como un abrazo muy cálido desde antes que llegáramos el cariño de Gigi la anfitriona se sentía con fuerza. Todo el voluntariado fue alegría y risas con las historias y bromas de Gigi nos divertimos todo el tiempo, comimos delicioso todo el tiempo y lo mejor fue poder tener con quien compartir. Siempre nos ayudamos unos con los otros en lo que necesitáramos. Y era un espacio muy acogedor. Agradezco mucho mi tiempo aquí me voy muy feliz y complacida. Sé que volveré a este lugar que fue mi hogar durante más de un mes❤️

Fue una experiencia asombrosa en todos los sentidos, hubiese amado poderme quedar más tiempo y compartir y aprender más de la comunidad, fue nutritivo como persona y como docente. Este lugar es un rincón donde te sentirás en casa, mientras conoces la cultura indígena Wayúu y sus costumbres ancestrales desde dentro de la mano de Gigi, una profesional que se ha convertido en una gran amiga por su admirable trabajo basado en la ética y el respeto a las comunidades y sus clientes. Mi experiencia habla por si misma: Iba para visitar la región una semana, y me quedé dos meses.

El hostel y su equipo es un lugar excepcional en el que te sentirás en un hogar lejos de casa. Gigi, la anfitriona es una persona única, con la que conecté desde el minuto uno. Todos los demás integrantes del equipo me hicieron sentir en familia y juntos hemos formado un espacio de aprendizaje comunitario donde todos aportan y comparten. Tras seis años viajando como voluntaria alrededor del mundo, puedo decir que Gigi hace posible un contacto con la comunidad indígena Wayúu local, ético y sostenible, algo difícil de encontrar. En resumen, no se puede pedir más de un voluntariado.

Paula conectar con un ser como tú me ha parecido la experiencia más maravillosa,sabes? Me quedo corta en hablar todo lo que aprendimos una de la otra y de este territorio de comunidad que nos mostró la verdadera realidad y nos conecto y nos trazo un camino,te valoro y admiro tus capacidades de ver desde los adentros la vida misma gracias infinitas por estar y ser quien eres y mostrarme pormedio del diario vivir una suma de realidades mujer,un hasta pronto,ojalá coincidamos mucho tiempo más
