What you offer

The Experience

Los voluntarios estan invitados a ayudarnos a participar en los huertos hortícolas orgánicos y a trabajar en nuestro sistema de acuaponia, además en el mantenimiento de nuestro centro (limpieza, carpinteria, pintura, barnizado, piscina, cocina, rastrillado de senderos). Queremos que los voluntarios se involucren con nuestro personal de manera que ambos tengan una experiencia agradable.

The organization is just a magical place in the middle of the nature! The tasks are easy and you can really take a break of crowded places and enjoy! The team is super collaborative, the food is delicious, the accommodation is super comfy and they're all the time pending about your needs! I truly recommend this place, maybe if you're a remote worker the internet is not good at all even with your own data (you're in the middle of the jungle). I absolutely loved my time at tekoatí! The team are super friendly and lovely!! We even organised a weekend trip to Amboro with Alfredo which was a super fun experience! I loved the work, it was always varied and divided into peoples abilities or what tasks we wanted to do on the day. The tasks ranged from easy to hard work. The team were very patient with my Spanish and helped me to improve! Homemade vegetarian/vegan lunches everyday, the kitchen was always well stocked with food to make breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much tekoatí for making my first volunteering an incredible one ❤️

I loved staying and working at Tekoatí. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere, you have your own room and you can move freely through the surrounding jungle as you please. It's incredible to live with the constant concert of insects and to discover new animals every day. I enjoyed very much working with and learning from the interesting people at Tekoatí and to get a bit of an insight into their projects and ways of problem-solving. Thanks so much for the good time, the occasional outings and the personal attention!
