I really enjoyed my time with the home. Their home was beautiful and close to nature, and Pernille and Sven both made me feel very welcomed and at home. They were also flexible and accommodating to make sure I would have time to enjoy the area and visit. I'm very thankful for my time there and I highly recommend this experience !

The experience was great! All members of the family were very friendly and I was well welcomed in several family moments and got the oportunnitie to met also their friendly and family, also kind people :) The hours of work are fair and mostly directed to housekeeping, but you also have the chance to explore your abilities or other areas you think you can help.

It was an amazing experience. I enjoyed staying with this family a lot. Pernille is really organized and gives your daily tasks every day so you know the needs of the house. They also share their lifestyle and are fully open to help you find what to do around the area. The kids are lovely and the their doggie it's adorable.

I had a good time staying with the home family, they are very kind and respectful, they have a beautiful home and make you feel very welcome in it the task are light and the work hours fair, but I think it should be promoted as a housekeeping position rather than a child caring one, since is what the task involve the most, also the task are spread out across the day, so there's not much going out during the work days overall I recommend it, for me it was more like a rest from my travels to get back into good habits :)

When I met Sven, Pernille, Isa and Alex any nerves I had were gone. They are such a friendly family who made me feel so welcome in their home. The tasks were all easy to understand & Pernille gave me a daily list of jobs which was really helpful! jobs are spaced out throughout the day so so if you want to explore lots between tasks this may not be right for you. But you can do all of this on your days off And I went out with the family lots which was really fun! Thank you all for being so kind and making me feel so comfortable, I'll miss you all!

This experience was amazing. I was just surprise of the amount of the cleaning part. I wish I could spend more time with their children. Otherwise Pernille had checked what were my skills and adapt the tasks with something I like to do. The family is amazing, the house is incredible. Pernille was very patient and listening. I completely recommand it.

My time volunteering with this family was amazing, I felt welcome since the moment that I arrived. They are really kind people, respectful and organized. You will always know what to do everyday. The tasks are very easy, some cleaning, cooking or gardening (general house chores), I had a lot of time to enjoy around the house or walking with Foxy in the forest. I enjoyed staying with them and cooking for them.

Franciscas applepies are to die for! Francisca is such a good cook. We could def. feel that she has worked professionally in a bakery. She is so good at running a household and she is really easy and nice to be around. She also speaks very well English. Thanks a lot for everything!

Staying with the home was an incredible experience — would definitely recommend to others! Pernille and Sven were very kind, welcoming, and excited to share parts of their Danish (and German) culture, and their children were also a delight! The work was fair, and each night they made their expectation for the next day's work very clear so there was never confusion on my end abt what they wanted. Staying in Næstved was also such a treat, their house overlooked a gorgeous fjord and was a short bike ride to either the city center or a lovely beach town. My only regret is not staying longer!
