I really enjoyed my time at the hostel!! I've connected with kindhearted and open people who really made my time better there! The location of the hostel is excellent and nearby train and bus station. I just missed a little more welcoming atmosphere and information about the basic things! It was a great experience!!

The interior, rooftop and yellow colour really made a great first impression on me. Location of the hostel is great, close to everything, worktasks are easy to learn, maybe housekeeping got a bit tiring, but it was always easier in a good company. The staff was nice and helpful if you needed anything, maybe on the first days a bit hard to approach, but eventually they let you in their circle. I wished a bit more welcoming atmosphere when I arrived and also some improvments on the staff room, otherwise it was a great first experience and it really got me excited to travel as a volunteer again!

It was my first volunteer and I can say I had a great experience. Jennifer is very patient in explaining the tasks. All the staff are kind and make you feel at home. The other volunteers are also very lovely. I had a lot of fun on the morning shifts working with Vera. All the environment is very multicultural and fun. The location of the hostel is perfect, very close to the city center. The volunteer room is good, but needs some improvements to make it more comfortable. Some shifts were busy and challenging, but there were always people willing to help me. I really enjoyed this experience :)

For everyone that want to experience the best part of their life, this hostel is perfect. I am lucky about the coincidence of having my first volunteer experience in this hostel, i cannot imagine going to a place better than this. Staff is Intelligent, funny, empathetic, caring and ready to help and also have fun with you after work hours (its also fun meanwhile work ;) ) Jennifer has the perfect personality traits for a wonderful leader. It had a huge impact on me, so that I will return in one month back and stay permanently in Faro. Also please, go to this place :D

Jennifer was dream bossšŸ„¹ She was so planned and schedule was not so hard to follow up. I got to see many cities around it was easy to travel. Hostel was so nice. It was the cleanest and tidy hostel I've ever stayed in my life. Volunteers and staff was so kind and friendly. But to understand how the things work and to be adapted i recommend to stay at least 4-5 weeks. I'ld love to stay more in summer:))))

I had an amazing time at the hostel! This was my first volunteering experience and it could not have been better! The work is not hard and the hours are very fair. All the people that work or volunteer at the hostel are also very welcoming, kind and easy to get a long with. They also make the experience even more fun <3 Faro is a beautiful city that has a lot to offer, and from there it is also easy to visit other cities close by! I would highly recommend this hostel!

I had a wonderful time at the hostel if Faro! The people were amazing, I met so many kindhearted people and got to travel around the country during my stay which was really unexpected!! I would recommend this place to anyone!! :)

Besides the fact that the hostel itself is really nice and cosy and the city of Faro has many things to offer and easy connections to visit the beautiful Algarve, the hostel becomes easy and quickly a second home. I felt welcomed from the very first moment and it was hard to leave. It is perfect to learn how hostels work, visit wonderful places, meet people from all over and you run the risc of falling in love. I would definitely recommend the experience and I wouldn't doubt to come back in the future :)

As a Brazilian the experience was wonderful! I got to have contact with other people mainly from Portugal and Brazil that were working as volunteers in the hostel. Jennifer, the owner of the hostel, would create a timetable every two weeks of the duties of the volunteers for the upcoming weeks, making sure to rotate the responsibilities so we could experience each work in the hostel. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and working and getting to know people from all around the world made the work very enjoyable and unique each day. I could only recommend the experience at the hostel!
