My stay at the hostel was an amazing experience! I met great people and because of this, the hostel soon felt like home. It is a beautiful and characteristic hostel. There is a calm atmosphere, but at the same time it is a very social environment. The perfect combination :) I am very grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel to anyone!🧡

It was an amazing experience, I practiced English, I met wonderful people, Jheniffer is an elegant and very sweet person, Vera is very funny, I can recommend this experience, I believe it would be nice if they encouraged the culture of praising the effort of work and improving the room from the volunteers, this hostel has a wonderful energy, I loved these days at the hostel

Working as a volunteer at the hostel was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hostel is beautiful with a fantastic social atmosphere, and located at the very center of Faro. But what made my stay at the hostel so special was the incredible team of workers and volunteers that I had the pleasure of working with. Jennifer, Orlando, Keven, Mirjam and Vera are very friendly and kindhearted and made me feel like part of the team. I feel incredibly grateful for the time I got to spend there and would 100% recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at the hostel for 5 and a half weeks and loved it! The hostel is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The tasks were just as described and overall, I had such an amazing time staying here. The only thing I would say could be improved is some of the actual staff could have been nicer/more welcoming. I would definitely recommend volunteering here.

It was my first experience with Worldpackers's and it was great! I really enjoyed my time there, I made friends with the other volunteers, friendships that I'll take with me for a lifetime! I practiced my English a lot which was amazing! The hostel it's just fantastic, really good energy, calm, sociable… Jennifer and pretty much everyone on the team is super friendly. The cleaning work is tiring and needs more people to not overload the volunteers, but nothing that will make your experience bad. Overall I highly recommend! I can only thank Jennifer for this opportunity and experience 💛

This was my first volunteering experience and I had a great time at the hostel!! The staff and volunteers were super nice and I met people from all over the world! Faro is a cute town and I did a lot of daytrips to nearby cities or to the beach. The working hours are fair and the hostel is in general a great place to stay! Highly recommend!! I will miss it a lot and hopefully come back one day!:)

The hostel is great! All the staff are super nice and easy to get on with and you will definitely feel at home. Jennifer is great to work for and also just a really cool and nice person. This was my first volunteering experience and I'm so happy I spent it at the hostel!! Also the hostel is generally really well kept, clean and just a nice environment to spend time in. You will definitely have the opportunity to meet many interesting, kind and fun people from all over. I had such a lovely time and will definitely miss it! I 100% recommend volunteering here!

The overall feel and sociability in and around this hostel is unlike anything I've experienced before. From the very start, I felt like part of the hostel Family. The work hours were just as I expected and nothing to complain about. The experiences and events set up by the hostel make sure that every moment is entertaining. I can't even describe how much I truly enjoyed my time in Faro. Can't wait to come back. Thank you to everyone at the hostel.

The hostel was amazing! Jennifer was incredibly kind, inviting, and made sure to check in to see how I was doing. I got to spend Christmas & New Years at the hostel with fellow volunteers/workers and Jennifer's family. As my first volunteering experience through WorldPackers, and it couldn't have been better! I enjoyed being able to meet the steady flow of travelers that past through during the winter season. I have been told that volunteering during the summer/high seasons would be a lot more high energy and active, but I preferred the close community that was able to form during winter.

My time at the hostel was nice, I was instantly welcomed by the other volunteers and felt comfortable right away. Though the work I applied for (Night Shift) was not my entire stay it was nice to change up positions and experience all the roles from morning cleaning to afternoon reception. I enjoyed that all volunteers rotated :) - the work is very fair, location and perks are awesome (free tours and surf lessons!). Plus the volunteer room is nice and spacious with own bathroom which I liked!
