My stay at the guest house was great! All of the staff here are very kind and made me feel welcomed immediately. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms have lots of character and the rooftop is a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning view of the fort. Devilal was an accommodating host who helped me see all of the sights in Jaisalmer, took care of me when I got sick, and made my experience in India feel authentic. The tasks I did were simple and enjoyable, the trade off was definitely worth it. I got to try new foods, stay in a beautiful place and meet many new people!

Since the moment I set foot in Jaisalmer, the warmth and hospitality of the people enveloped me, making me feel cherished and embraced. Attending the wedding of my host's niece was a heartwarming experience, weaving me intricately into the fabric of their family. Every individual extended their arms to me, embracing me as one of their own. Through my two weeks of volunteering, I not only forged meaningful connections but also gleaned invaluable insights and knowledge. My gratitude towards Devi Ji knows no bounds for granting me this unforgettable journey in the city of golden hearts.

Where to start... From the minute we arrived, we were welcomed into the family. Everyone was beyond lovely. The food was amazing, the tasks were short and super simple leaving me plenty of time to go out and explore the beautiful town. The hotel was beautiful with stunning views on the rooftop and the camel safari tour is out of this world <3 I had a great experience! Thank you so much V and Devilal and the entire team 🩷

An absolutely great opportunity to see a beautiful part of India, and meet some great people. I applied here to start my trip into India in a smaller town to get oriented, and Jaisalmer turned out to be beautiful (though often difficult for me), Devilal and the rest of the staff were SO accommodating, and gave me a bunch of memorable experiences, as well as useful help for my future travel. One unusual thing was that there wasn't any work to do, so I felt almost guilty about the immense hospitality, and had more free time than expected. Overall, highly recommend

This was my first volunteering experience in worldpackers with Devilal. He is such a kind, friendly and fun loving person. He took care me a lot. I must say it's not only volunteering job I did lot of things during this period. I have travelled, met new people, enjoyed Rajasthani food , desert Safari and many more things. I felt like I booked trip as he gave me comfort zone to do the job.It was the off season so there was very less work to do. Rest of the time we used to travell and explore the city.I really appreciate for his time, kindness and company . I wish to be there again someday 😊
