The Experience

We have a wide range of daily tasks that volunteers can get involved in, generally a volunteer will be expected to form part of our cleaning team where they will be expected to help clean beds, bathrooms and common areas. If you are up for the challenge you could also be part of our reception team where you could be assisting and learning about the desk.

My time at the hostel was wonderful! I spent a month there, full of adventures, amazing people and unforgettable memories. Rebeca is an excellent manager, the work is absolutely fine and you still have plenty of time to travel around the island with others. It was truly an unforgettable experience for me, and I can definitely recommend this hostel -not only is it beautiful, but it also has an incredible vibe and a warm, family-like atmosphere. During my experience in the hostel i have made the most wonderful connections, a real bonding experience. The staff is friendly and understanding. The place is amazing, and not far from a cute town called El Medano which i loved. I recommend 100% if you are looking to improve languages like english / spanish. Also lots of activities and free time which makes time go so fast. I would do it again. Thank you the hostel <3

When I applied for the hostel, I didn't really know what to expect beyond the beauty of the hostel and the good photos I'd seen of the hostel common areas. I've been welcomed in a big family and had an amazing time in the hostel. The work and the tasks are really fair, they leave you plenty of free time to enjoy your time there. Rebeca is the best manager I've ever had and the whole environments at the hostel is nothing but amazing. the hostel is in an great position to reach El Medano, which for the ones interested in water sports is really great, amazing wind and really good waves 🌊❤️

My experience at TreeHouse Hostel was truly magical. I was warmly welcomed, and in no time I felt right at home. Rebeca, my manager, was always present and supportive, ready to help and listen.
