Staying at the home was such a nice experience! I really enjoyed getting out into the garden in the mornings. The work can be quite hard but it was very rewarding and you get the rest of the day to chill! The property itself is stunning and I had such a lovely view of the forest from my room. Thank you so much Mike and Tanya for welcoming me into your home and letting me work for you!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, & I loved it! The hours spent working went really quickly, and I learned lots about handyman work. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Tanya because she was away working, but Mike was so lovely and welcoming, and would even drop me off at the bus stop to Airlie beach on sunny days. I was never bored, on rainy days there was work I could do inside. I would 100% recommend volunteering with Mike and Tanya, and I hope to come back one day!

My stay with Mike and Tanya was great. I've got to learn about gardening and garden up keep. Due to the rainy weather we did a couple of inside tasks and I was able to help Mike with a couple of computer based tasks. I had a nice room for myself and after a hard day of work it was really nice to jump in the pool. The cooking was done separately but I got to eat fresh avocados and oranges from the trees in the garden. Mike brought me to the bus station so I could go to airlie beach for the afternoon and would pick me up on the way back. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

This was my first worldpackers experience and it went great! We did a lot of little tasks on the land so I was never bored. Communication was great and my room was nice and cozy. The wifi worked great so I was able to do some online work on the front patio as well. He is willing to take you to the bus which is a great way to make it to the beaches and reef. He is very flexible with whatever plans you have or want to make and was fun to chat with.

I stayed with Mike and Tanya for a week and helped out with very basic gardening and handyman tasks. First off, they were both so welcoming and warm. Since their house a little away from the “fun” section of whitsundays he very kindly dropped me and picked me up from the bus stop everyday :) He was very understanding and flexible with my schedule as well as my lack of knowledge on all things nature but it was such a wonderful experience for me to learn about an entirely different kind of life! Would 10/10 recommend! Thank you Mike and Tanya :)
