Mike is an absolutely fantastic host! Incredibly warm hospitality, generous, and very helpful. The time here was truly enriching. You have enough time to be a tourist and he offers to drop you off at the bus station everyday :) 5 out of 5 stars!

My stay at the home was my first experince with worldpackers. It was an amazing one and I really enjoyed it. I discovered a lot about tropical garden. It was a fun day (as Mike used to say) every day. Every morning we spent time in the garden doing different tasks and then I had a lot of free time to be a tourist and discover the Whitsunday region :) Mike is so kind and passionate, I liked talking with him. I would love to see how the trees are growing ! Thank you for this experience.

Thanks for that Emilia, it is really nice when we get helpers that are truly interested in the experience and how we live here at Cedarviews. May all your Worldpacker stays be as positive, best wishes,Mike & Tanya.

Had a great time!! tasks included sawing trees, moving them, raking and re discovering parts of his land. The hours were sweaty and sometimes challenging but seeing the before and after made it all worth it. He's more than happy to give you a lift to the bus, if we were to do it again i wouldn't have stayed in Airlie prior and would've used my day off for a long day trip and done smaller ones after the morning work. A week was perfect for us!

I enjoyed my stay at Cedar Views. Hours are just as agreed to and finished in the morning giving you a lot of free time to explore the area. Mike drops you of and pick you up from the bus station every day after work. So you can go to Airlie Beach.

Mike was a great host! One thing to keep in mind is that you are a bit remote from the city but Mike does take you to the bus stop. Would recommend

Mike was very welcoming he wanted us to have the absolute best possible experience and the work we did with him was fun. Just be prepared that If you go in the summer time there will be A LOT of Mosquitos and occasionally some cyclones ;) .

I loved my stay at Cedar Views. Mike is so nice and welcoming and i learned a lot about the work in the garden and how to keep this place nice. Every day was different and i was never bored during the work, time flew by. The room is really nice and after work you have a lot of time to chill or to be a tourist. Mike always drops you off at the busstation and you have the chance to explore. Thank you for this nice experience🌴😊

I loved my stay at Cedar Views. Mike and Tania are very sweet, they welcomed me with great affection. I had a great time with them. Mike is a funny guy and loves doing his work around the house. The work is not difficult, and you learn a lot. Tania is a sweet person, she made some typical Ukrainian foods, she cooks really well. The house is a little far from the center, but Mike was committed to taking me to and picking me up at the bus stop. It was a great first experience.

I really enjoyed my time at cedar views. There was a mixture of tasks which meant that everyday was different and the work wouldn't get boring. It also meant I learnt a lot of new skills which was absolutely something I was looking for in a home stay. It was also nice to be welcomed as a first time world packer without any previous experience! After work is finished it is great to have the option to head into airlie beach as Mike would offer to drop us at the local bus stop - so there is plenty of time to look around airlie too and be a tourist.
