The Experience

Hello, wanna join us for some days under the sun helping in a guesthouse in the beautiful city of Faro? We need help with cleaning, of the space (we have an extension of the hostel across the street, you're going to help us on both buildings). At this moment, we only have positions for women becuase of the dorm available. We as hosts cover off-site roles. You won't see much in the houses but we have dedicated staff to support you.

As my first Worldpackers, it is a great start!! I loved the people I volunteered, the accomodation is comfortable and we even got pizza as a thank you gift :). Pedro is super nice and so is Josefina!!

I had a wonderful time in the guest house, even though I almost hadn't seen Pedro and Sonja, they seemed very friendly on our brief encounters. Josefina was very helpful and always treated me well! The tasks were easy to handle and I learned how to put a blanket inside a sheet on a record timing hahaha I made good friends in my time in Faro and I recommend the experience to anyone !

Was a great experience. You have the opportunity to explore Faro and build great friendships. Everyday cleaning tasks are divided among the team and you are free after 2:30. Simple tasks and clear communication.

I loved my time in Faro! It was my first volunteer. The work and schedule was followed and the tasks were easy. You could always ask for help in the group and get a fast response. I met many new friends that I'm still in contact with! Loved the lunches- the food was great and you met lots of new people!
