Maru is an amazing host. She was always available via Whatsapp to answer my questions about work or personal needs. Working with the kids is really fun and the community as a whole is very supportive. There is lots of opportunities to implement your own ideas, try new things, and take on a leadership role. The work is really adaptable based on the kids' interests and your capacities. The area is also beautiful. Much love to the cat!!

Fueron 20 días de muchas experiencias! Por el lado social, fue el mejor voluntariado. Por más que la anfitriona gestiona a distancia, todos de la comunidad están involucrados y dispuestos. Por el lado personal, fue el más difícil debido a una conflictiva convivencia con otra voluntaria, pero también fue una oportunidad de aprender a aplicar más la CNV y conocer cómo reacciono en estas situaciones. Lastimosamente eso afectó mí salud emocional y no logré colaborar con toda mí creatividad y dedicación. Ojalá pueda volver en otro momento y ser más útil a ese proyecto qué mucho me encantó. Gracias!!!

Mi experiencia en la comunidad del la comunidad fue increible en muchos aspectos y agradesco a Mariuxi la oportunidad de hacer parte de este projecto. Pude hacer talleres con los niños, pinturas, ensiñar y aprender bastante! Los niños son 5 estrellas muy curiosos y con muchas ganas de aprender. La comunidad me recibo con una sonrisa. Los perritos - Casu y Mimo - que se acercaran de la casa de los voluntarios y se fueran quedando son super cariñosos. A tener en atencion que es un local aislado del pueblo y vive de la energia y de la madurez de cada uno, para compartir y vivir lejos de otras personas.

Mi primera experiencia en worldpackers ha sido genial, Marixui es una persona encantadora. El lugar es muy remoto y es perfecto para desconectar de la gran ciudad. Eso sí, te tiene que gustar la comunidad porque sino lo vas a pasar mal. La comunidad increible, a destacar los niños y niñas del lugar, son maravillosos de verdad que recomiendo mucho la experiencia. NO DUDEN EN APUNTARSE EL PROYECTO NECESITA GENTE Y CUALQUIER PERSONA PUEDE APORTAR.

Sin duda, vivimos una gran experiencia. Durante un mes pudimos sentirnos parte de la vida en este pequeño rincón rural de Ecuador, aprendiendo y jugando con los niños, compartiendo con los vecinos y conociendo las propuestas que se están gestando de turismo comunitario. Se trata de una iniciativa preciosa dirigida por Mariuxi, una persona sensacional que actualmente lo dirige a distancia pero siempre presente y dispuesta, y con el apoyo de sus padres, que nos ayudaron en lo que hiciera falta. Nuestro papel era algo difuso, pero tuvimos mucha libertad para aportar y desarrollar propuestas.
