What you offer

- Hours per week
- Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.
- Cleaning
- Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
- Housekeeping
- Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
- Reception
- Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
- Bartending
- Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

- Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

- You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
- Breakfast
- You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

- You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
- Use our equipped kitchen
- Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

- You can use our bikes any time you want.

- We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

- Get help from the Worldpackers support team in case you need it, at any point of your trip.

The Experience
Help at our hideaway hotel in the southwest of Denmark, with 15 rooms, 2 restaurants & an icehouse in the summertime. Danish culture is this one, where a smile, sit down an have a talk is valid. They say the danes are some of the most happiest people on Earth ;) Be polite & on time, and your colleagues will smile at you! Meet the whole world coming to us!

This was our first WP experience, and it went way beyond our expectations. Suzette is so lovely and so kind, she has also travelled a lot for pleasure and work and you can really see it in her person. The work was very manageable, and the hours/free days were always respected, most times you can manage to even finish early. The hotel is beautiful and very curated in every detail, you can see so much care and personality in each room. The countryside location is very pretty and peaceful, but also very well connected to big cities through trains. Couldn't recommend it enough! We ♥️ u Suzette!

It was my first worldpackers experience, and it was better than anything that i expected, Suzette and Bjarne were the best hosts, they were really kind in every way, they worried a lot about us and if anything happened they were there, we felt like home and part of the family, we also had the opportunity to meet Christian and work with him, he is as well one of the kindest persons I've ever met, and no matter that his english was no perfect, we had a good time;the tasks that we had to do were not hard and they were really flexible and comprehensive, we would repat the experience 1000 times

My experience at the Postgarden Hotel has been very positive. Suzette was lovely with us from the first moment. We immersed ourselves in Danish culture, visiting the country in our free time and meeting people. The working hours in the hotel and in the restaurant were not hard, they were attentive to us and helped us in everything we needed. I highly recommend the experience and encourage people to do it! Marina and I have had an amazing month!

We are happy to go through this volunteering. Suzette and Bjarne are lovely people, kind, generous and great hosts, we learned a lot from them. Her work team is also made up of beautiful people. We feel very comfortable and are very grateful for the beautiful stay we had at Holsted. It is a charming place and we recommend everyone to come here and take the opportunity to meet them.
