It was a great experience, I spent 4 weeks and time really flew! The hostel is pretty comfortable, we have enough private space and a lot of free time to visit the city and places around. the hostel is well located and it is quiet, it's not a party hostel so it's very good for someone who's looking for a calm and comfortable place to volunteer. I loved it and I recommend it for sure!

The experience was great! Simona is a very nice person, helpful and that makes our volunteering life much easier. I was there during lockdown, so there wasn't much work to do and also there were few guests, but still it was a great experience. The Hostel is tidy, the rooms are comfortable and the lounge was always available for us to cook and just hang.... Probably because of lockdown, we volunteers had some flexibility for going on trips nearby and free time. I appreciated a lot (except for the cold weather hahaha) Thanks the hostel and Simona :)

Having Deise to 5elements was very nice, she confirmed to me one more time how warm and nice are Brazilian people. She was responsible for each one of her duties, never missing a shift and a the same time proved she's a team player. Personally, I would like to meet Deise again and the doors at 5elements are also open for her if she'd ever wish to come back. :)

I stayed in the hostel for 3 days only, cause I had to leave because of some urgent problems with my studies. the hostel is a perfect place to volunteer. The work was really easy and for few hours per week and some days I did not have any work. Simona is a perfect leader. She took care of every one, showed me the place and made me feel welcomed and warm in the first day. I wish I can go again and stay more. the hostel is in the city center and the area around it is so alive. Do not hesitate to go!

5E it's an amazing place, safe and warm. The people in the hostel were very kind and worry about the volunteers there. Leipzig is a beautiful place as well, kind of cold outside during winter but you can work it out with Glühwein. You won't regret :)

I really liked my stay at Five the hostel. I felt that I worked way less than I should have in comparason what I got. Free breakfast buffeé everyday, comfortable beds and clean rooms etc. The work was super easy and you rarely work alone! The kitchen is very big and useful, my groceries were safe too haha! The first night happened to be a family dinner, so I got a very nice welcome from nice people! Unfortunately there was not many volunteers at the end so nothing fun and spontanious really happened. I do believe though that when times are better this calm hostel will be quite fun!

I came to Leipzig to improve my German and, until the state wide lockdown in Saxony, I was able to do that, we had lots of German guests and I was able to speak to them at breakfast time, as well as when i was exploring the city. At the beginning of the trip I was living with only Spanish speakers which was lovely because my Spanish has improved a lot too! Apart from the lockdown situation which is a bit depressing but unavoidable, I have had a lovely time here at the hostel, all the other volunteers are really sweet and pleasant, and it was so wonderful to be part of such a positive community

My experience in the hostel was really good, Simona was so nice always and she always wanted make sure that we felt confortable in the hostel, also the whole staff, really nice people in general. I definitely recommend this experience here 😊

The experience here was amazing, everything here is perfect, is a great place to stay, you have a lot of free time as the tasks are so easy to complete and working with others volunteers those are even easier, Simona is the best person Person I've ever meet, and I totally recommend this experience to everyone

I'm so happy with how my volunteering in 5elementens turned out! From day one, everyone from the staff was incredibly welcoming and nice. Even though because of corona there weren't as many volunteers as I was expecting, I feel so lucky to have met and shared this experience with the people I did:). Additionally, since we had a lot of free time, I was able to enroll in a language course and visit other cities. And Leipzig is such a beautiful city!!! I will definitely come back! :))
