The Experience

If you are looking for a fun way to travel and visit (probably) the greatest city in the world, don't look any further. We offer volunteers to stay with us and explore their wanderlust! You would work 20 hours per week, from helping our cleaning staff to cooking crepes in the bar. You would live in the direct city centre. If you're friendly and open to making new friends and having new experiences, we would love to have you.

Definitelly a positive place tò volunteer, the facility Is nice (best volunteers dorm you Will ever see) and the tasks are easy enough. Hannah Is also a really good and caring Manager. Leipzig Is a very nice city and from there you can easily also reach Dresden. Will definitelly miss hanging around with the other volunteers and staff members.

I'm so glad I came here. The facilities were clean and modern, better than the actual pictures on the app. They respect the working hours strongly and yet you still have the flexibility to change things around. The work itself is pretty chill and easy. All the staff, managers, and the other volunteers were very friendly and welcoming. When I saw so many good reviews I felt like it was a bit too good to be true, but it genuinely lives up to the hype. Highly recommend. Leipzig is a wonderful city. Thank you to everyone I've met here :)

I had a really great experience here! The volunteers and staff create such good vibes, always friendly and ready to help with anything you need. It feels like a very supportive and welcoming environment. The facilities are top-notch too, super clean and comfortable, which makes the stay even better. Plus, Leipzig is such a nice city — you're close to nature and green spaces, perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. Definitely recommend it!

I had a great time at Five the hostel:) The volunteer dorm is nice and spacious (with a private kitchen and bathroom) connected to a rooftop deck with a beautiful view. Tasks are easily manageable and never go over the agreed amount of work hours. At crepe night you get to chat with the guests more and meet some fun folks. Atmosphere of the hostel was very nice thanks to the wonderful staff (special thanks to our manager Hannah!) I'm grateful to have met and spent time with so many lovely people. Overall definitely would recommend volunteering here!

I had a lovely time at Five the hostel. The hostel is in a perfect location, there are local parks, bars, shops, transport, and everything around for convenience. Leipzig is a wonderful city and the volunteering experience makes it even better. The work is simple, divided equally among the volunteers and we can swap and change times if needed. Hannah is so lovely, and so are all the staff at the hostel. Our room/flat is really nice, with a spacious kitchen and rooftop and a couch to relax. 100% would recommend!
