The Experience

"Girls only, please!" Come help me with my guesthouse in Busan about 5 days a week, for 2–5 hours a day. Your main task will be cleaning guest rooms. Volunteers stay in two rooms inside my house, usually 2–4 people together. We have a washing machine, dryer, and air conditioner for you to use. Simple foods are always stocked, so you can cook and eat freely. I want to make sure you have enough free time to fully enjoy Busan during your stay!

This was my first experience with worldpackers and also my first solo trip ever. For 3 months i got to stay with amazing volunteers and with the sweetest host, Eunjin. The work was very easy and did not took more than 2 hours a day which gave me the opportunity to explore Busan. I also walked with the guest house (Eunjin's dog) a lot, which was perfect for me. The apartment was very nice, got everything we needed. And if you needed anything else you could always text Eunjin. I am very grateful for the time that i had with everyone and i am already planning my return.

I've spent the happiest two months here. The work was easy and could be finished quickly. The basic food like rice, ramen, and kimchi is provided. Eunjin is really nice, and the guest house is super, super cute. Coming here was the best decision I've ever made. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose to come to Busan again!

I definitely recommend this host. Eunjin the host is super friendly. The volunteers sleep in an apartment right next to the hostel without the host. You get basic food such as cornflakes, ramen and cooked rice. On average you work less than two hours a day.

I will miss Eunjin and the guest house, the cutest dog. the guest house is a great place for volunteering in Busan, Eunjin is super kind and understanding, from the first day she and her family make you feel at home and are always ready to help. The work is easy, with few hours and free days to enjoy the city, and the accommodation is great, with our own space for volunteers, well equipped and well connected. As a plus, I recommend walking in the park behind Busan station, and of course, spending time with the guest house makes the experience even more special. A cozy place I would definitely choose again! ^^

I stayed for only one month but I could actually feel immersed in the local community. Eunjin is super lovely and caring. The working hours are totally reasonable and days off requested were always respected; Eunjin is very flexible so you can even adjust some little trips around SK.
