The volunteers are nice and intelligent guys. the problem is knowing how to handle the unexpected if a person has a health problem (for serious reasons) you have to meet that person and try to help them find another commitment to make themselves useful! I also try to make people think because I have tried to propose myself with other tasks but it is not possible for unknown reasons! and then you have to give yourself time to speak English again after 3 years of pandemic! English comes back just practice! I made friends with the volunteers and it was a good group. unfortunately it didn't go wel

I stayed at the hostel for a month. It was my first volunteer experience and i am very happy about it! We had to da 5 hour shift for 5 days a week, but the tasks weren't hard to complete. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcomed from the beginning. During my stay i met a lot of amazing people, also outside of the hostel! I highly recommend this opportunity!

I stayed for one month at the hostel and I really liked my stay there. The team is super friendly and welcoming. The shifts you will have to do will never take more than 5 hours and most of the time it is very easy work, nothing complicated. You will get breakfast and lunch served and for dinner you can cook whatever you want with the things which are provided. You will share a room with all of the other volunteers what brings you real close together as a team and friends. I met amazing people here and I only can recommend this experience to other volunteers. :)

I actually loved to stay and collaborate in the hostel. I think the best part were the other volunteers. the hostel has a lot to offer and the location is good because it is right in the center. The dorm is great, you have space and privacy. Of course there were some details in my stay there but they're not a big deal compared to the great experience I had.

Amazing experience in the hostel. wonderful colleagues and volunteers. after work you will have the opportunity to explore Aarhus, as the hostel is centrally located and very convenient. I had the chance to improve my English and also a little bit of Spanish as there are so many people who speak it.

It's a huge hostel and sometimes it gets really hard to complete all cleaning tasks. I'd suggest to put at least one or two more people. The breakfast is superb. Specially home made bread (which I miss!). You can eat sandwiches at lunch time. Not the best option, in my opinion, but it was good to try new products and flavors :) About the dinner, you can use what you want from the kitchen to cook yourself or for all volunteers. All the staff were super friendly. It was a nice experience and opportunity to meet new international people and also gain some experience if you want to enjoy Aarhus.

I had a really good time at the hostel; the people were really friendly, Aarhus is a nice the hostel to be in, and the location right in the middle of town is great. It was nice having breakfast and lunch provided, and dinner was usually provided or else we cooked. A few things to note: it's as much a hotel as a hostel, and there's not a great area to chill out and make friends with guests like many hostels have. Fri & Sat nights outside the dorm window can be loud. Finally, the work is almost all cleaning and housekeeping, not bartending or reception. Overall I liked it though

It's impossible not to fall in love with Aarhus, if you want a true Danish experience and also have fun, this is the right place!! The hostel is in the middle of the town, which helps a lot! They have a nice infrastructure for the volunteers, breakfast/lunch was amazing, and dinner we usually cooked for ourselves. They respect the work hours that were asked in the position, and when the volunteer team was complete it was chill and we still had time to enjoy the hostel. Something I wish they can change to improve even more the experience is more hired personnel in all areas of the hostel.
