Such an insightful experience, perfect for those with a business or social media background. The family are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel at home. It’s best to stay for at least 10 days/2 weeks so that you are able to make a difference and implement any necessary changes. Some members of the family speak English but the staff do not so knowledge of Spanish is advisable but not a must.

I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The family is sweet, caring, and provided everything I needed. I had a great time with the coworkers and family including on the weekends. I enjoyed learning about the textile market in Ecuador, and specifically on how LyR is operated. After I learned about the company, we decided what the best project for me was. My main project was updating the company website, giving LyR a good foundation for their social presence. I highly recommend LyR. I'm thankful for the experience!
