The Experience

Estancia en una caseta-estudio de 20 mts con baño, cocina, terraza, wifi con algun fallo... Junto a nuestra casa en entorno rural a 15 km de Santander. Perfecta parejas. Trabajo de tarde con flexibilidad,.Será principalmente mantenimiento de una finca y sus casas. El resto del tiempo relajate en la terraza, haz senderismo y bicicleta por la via verde, vete a la playa, visita Santander o deja que te ayudemos a descubrir nuestra región.

I really enjoyed the weeks in Villanueva. Pilli & Pillo are two really warm people who make you feel like a member of the family. The work was really little and also varied, you had more the feeling of helping out a little than actually working. I worked together in the garden mowing the lawn, digging beds or painting the house. Even with my poor Spanish, I didn't miss Pilo's jokes, which were quit amusing. There was plenty of time to explore the area. I really enjoyed the nature and tranquillity of the place. Ideal for switching off and getting back to yourself a little.

Jose and his wife are really great persons. Despite I didn't speak that much spanish, I tried hard to understand and to speak in it and it counted a lot for them. Showing willingness of integration can really connet you with your host. Thay had a lot of patience speaking to me slowly and with easy words. Thanks to them my spanish is now much better ! The working hours were respected. There are usually in the afternoon but Jose is flexible about that. The place where i lived is perfect: a place whare you can sleep, a kitchen to make your own food and a shower. Recommend 100%!

Pili y pillo fue increíbles, para una primera experiencia de voluntario no podria buscar una mejor host. Me ayuden a visitar Cantabria, la casita está super bonita para dormir y disfrutar. Aun que no hablaba bien español, me ayuden a mejorar mi nivel y a diferenciar el cuchillo y la mochila. Los cafecitos en la merienda eran super para descansar y el trabajo de jardin no era tan dificil. 5/5 para todo. Muchas gracias a vosotros!

Excelente lugar para vivir mí primera experiencia de voluntariado. Pili y Pillo son hermosas personas, siempre se mostraron muy atentos e interesados en que tuviera una buena estadía. Da mucho gusto ayudarles a realizar las tareas y pasar tiempo con ellos. Villanueva es un lugar precioso y en los días libres me llevaron a recorrer algunos pueblos de Cantabria, me voy encantada y con ganas de volver. Muchísimas gracias!🥰

Realmente conocer a Pili y Pillo ha sido una de las lindas experiencias de este viaje, un matrimonio encantador, muy amables y respetuosos, Pili con su sensibilidad particular y Pillo con su humor característico nos hicieron sentir como en casa, realmente se vincularon con nosotros y siempre estuvieron pendientes de nuestra estadía, las tareas fueron sencillas y nada exigentes, gracias chicos por abrirnos las puertas de su hogar!!! Estaremos eternamente agradecidos y cuenten con nosotros por el resto de nuestras vidas!!! Ya sabés...un argentino lo dice!!! Jajaja!!! Un abrazo fuer
