As I write this review, I'm SO upset to be leaving the guest house. It truly felt like a home away from home and its own little oasis on Inishmore. Sean is a very kind host who always made sure the volunteers had everything they needed. And I can't say enough that will encapsulate how amazing the manager, Brenda, is. She is so funny, caring, and supportive and meeting her was one of the best parts of this experience. This experience let me relax in the beautiful Irish countryside, meet new people and experience new things. I would highly recommend this position to anyone!

Hi to everybody! I lived a very nice expeience in the guest house Walker Lodge, i felt very well with the host Sean, a local gentleman of the island, with Brenda the manager, a mexican girl very friendly, aware and wise and with the other volounteers. The landscape of the island is awesome, the location is in a peacefull zone, ideal for relax, hike, swim and meditation, but if you want to live the local social life there is some pub at 25 minutes of bike where they often play Irish music and serve tasty beers. I really enjoy my stay, i met very nice people and i practised my english. Bye bye.

A great volunteer opportunity! the guest house is in such a special location, within a welcoming community. The team is amazing, with Brenda and Sean making sure your time on Inishmore is enjoyable. My work included cooking, cleaning, and helping out at reception. Hours were respected, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. This left plenty of time to explore every corner of the island. There's lots of food for cooking, and the volunteer accommodation is comfortable and in a separate house from the lodge guests, giving you privacy. This experience is absolutely worth applying for!!

I immensely enjoyed my stay at the guest house on Inishmore! The owner, Sean, and the manager, Brenda, were incredibly kind. Brenda trained and supervised us, and was respectful of our agreed time commitment. I also enjoyed taking on some admin work. The only bad experience I had was with another volunteer. The location is amazing for nature lovers. There are stunning cliffs and a beautiful beach very close by, for those fine with cold waters. It's a bit far away from town, so I recommend it for people who are happy to entertain themselves with e.g. a good book in the evening.
