I had an amazing stay at the hostel. The tasks are easy and the shifts are short. I rarely had to work past 12:00 so I had lots of time to explore nearby destinations! Everybody is extremely welcoming and they make an effort to have group meals and promote inclusivity. The town itself is very charming, I became familiar with the local vendors and shopkeepers during my day-to-day activities. The team was also very patient with me while I was learning to speak Spanish. I will miss living here!

This experience in such a beautiful part of Argentina could not have been better! I felt at home. Humahuaca is a charming place and I didn't want to leave at all. Juan is a great host. I even had the opportunity thanks to his second hostel in Purmamarca to sleep one night for free and I totally loved Purmamarca 🧡 the hostel is really special place 🥰 Gracias por todo!!!

Realmente me encanto la experiencia en el hostel, desde que llegue que me recibieron super cálidamente y me hicieron sentir parte del grupo. Recomiendo este lugar para los viajeros que quieran compartir un rato de su viaje con la familia el hostel. Juan y Pili son personas amables y con una calidad humana increíble, gracias por recibirme y compartir su lugar conmigo. No tengo nada que decir sobre el lugar, sus instalaciones ni su ubicación, mucho menos de las tareas, fue perfecto.

Que les puedo decir sobre el gira? el hostel es casa, es hogar, es familia, es un lugar que recomiendo mucho para todxs que aman viajar, compartir, conocer culturas distintas, vivenciar momentos increibles y conocer lugares hermosos que tiene la Quebrada de Humahuaca. El Gira esta muy bien ubicado, al lado del centro de Humahuaca y cerca del mirador de la ciudad, al rededor tiene mercados, museos y plazas donde hace de Humahuaca un lindo lugar para vivir. Vengo al Gira a voluntariar desde 2022 y recomiendo a todxs viajerxs a vivir esa experiencia hermosa que es hacer parte de esa familia.

En el hostel empece a voluntariar desde el 2019, y desde entonces voy todos los años a compartir con la familia que Juan y Pili formaron en el hostel, nos hacen sentir en hogar y eso es muy importante para nosotros los viajeros. El hostel esta en pleno casco histórico de Humahuaca, y es bellisimo lleno de arte y una terraza que invita a mirar los cielos y las montañas alrededor. Las tareas son simples y el hostel es super acojedor. Allí deje huella con mi arte del mosaico y murales. Gracias Gira por tanto q me das. Recomiendo 100%!!!!
