Program Details
Come join us in our cozy cafe where you can engage in fun language & culture exchange program. Meet the local patrons, have interesting conversations with them, share your experiences and ideas, and even go out for some nice meals or drinks. In the meantime, you would be helping the Koreans shrug off the so-called awkwardness or uneasiness that they feel rather in general when meeting and communicating in English with foreigners.
! We apologize to anyone who hasn't heard from us in the past few months. It's been exceptionally busy here at the studio and unfortunately we weren't able to show gratitude to everyone who showed great interest in our community. We normally plan up to 3 months ahead of time. So if you're planning on sending in an application, please bear this in mind (: We're always grateful for your interest and passion towards our community. Have a good one !
Activities & Shift
You would get to learn about the Korean culture and experience the warm welcoming nature of the Korean community, all the while making some great friends with the locals rather than just taking a quick glimpse of Korea from a traveler's point of view.
Feel free to have your stay planned out and enjoy your time outside of the cafe when you are not participating in the sessions. You can also go out and have fun with the fellow volunteers or local friends. We do not hold regular Korean lessons at the moment, although you can always ask for help with the language to the staff or other friends you make here.
You can choose the time window and days which you would like to join except for the first week of arrival. (Further explanation in the Rules section below)
Please contribute your brilliant ideas as to what more we can offer during your participation.
