The Experience

Our stay at the farm was our first volunteer experience and we absolutely loved it! We learned a lot about regenerative farming, caring for pigs, chickens, and sheep, as well as, a bit of gardening. We particularly enjoyed sharing this experience with other volunteers and Damian and Paula. It felt like home shortly after arriving with big family meals throughout our stay. We highly recommend volunteering at the farm!

There are pigs, sheep and many chickens. Work is pretty easy to do. What I did is feed, water, move them and cleaning. people who work here are so nice and friendly. The farm is pretty far from Lobos, if you want to go to Lobos center, you need to walk more than 30min to go to the bus station, also do the same when you come back. It was kind of boring because there are not many things to do in Lobos. You should cook dinner your self. I know Damian is busy but he needs to fix the house especially the roof because it was broken.

Our stay at Damian and Paula's was undescriptible: a cocoon of real frienship that makes the work with them so interesting and pleasant. Projects are numerous and they give us the possibility to achieve them with always a thanksfull attitude. They are really hoping we learn with them, asking what kind of knowledge we would like to share. They are also very open minded to discuss and to discover other knowledges. Their generosity and sense of welcoming are tremendous. See you the very next time, we love you
