The Experience

This position is for volunteers for our housekeeping and cleaning team in our hostel! We host people from all over Europe and although we are Dutch, the main language spoken in the hostel is English. So if you are looking to improve your English and work within an energetic, fun, and genuine team that feels more like a family, than this is the best place to be! :)

The hostel is a great place to volunteer! The vibe there is incredible and I loved spending so much time with the other volunteers and staff! (my favourite part was eating dinner together every evening) We could often finish the work early too and on my days off I was able to visit so many different places in the Netherlands. I can definitely recommend it :)

I had a great time at the hostel. I stayed around 5 weeks during which I really bonded with other volunteers. We shared as lots of time and activities together, from working shifts and dinners, to movie nights and walks through the centre. The work (cleaning and housekeeping) is easy, not too tiring and with good timing (10:30-16:00). Staff members are really nice and kind. Also, very cheap experience, as they provide volunteers with breakfast, lunch, a discount card for groceries for the dinner, bikes, coffee, and even free access to the gym. Highly recommended, see you soon at the new bar <3

That was honestly a crazy experience full filled with a lot of connections, lot of kindness from the team and the others volunteers. I will never forget that experience. You feel here like at home, that's a big family, focused on sharing moments with each others, learn from everyone, Every differents culture and country mixing and deutch as well. I loved m'y moments here, loved all the people i met here. They are really looking for arrange the schedule for you if you need to. It feels like there is no superior, everyone is on the same level. You are important as anyone else in the group. Go !❤

The hostel is such an amazing place! The staff and the other volunteers were lovely people. We had lunch and dinner together every day and went out to bars and clubs sometimes. Tilburg is a cute city and really felt like home. I spent a great time at the hostel and hope to go back soon! Thanks to everybody who made my experience so wonderful :)

I spent 4 weeks at the hostel and it was a great experience. All the staff members are welcoming, kind and help us to integrate. The housekeeping is very easy and there is no pressure. If you want to live a unique experience I highly recommend the hostel.
