I can totally recommend working at the hostel! Thiago is very kind und a good organiser, always checks with us if there is any problem! Lagos is beautiful, you can go surfing, kayaking,... or just spend every day at the amazing beaches, like I did :) In the time I was there, many guests were older than usual. But I could still make friends and had great conversations with people my age (I am 18), there were just fewer than I am used to in hostels. And there are always other volunteers, which is great! Work is quite easy, I really enjoyed the reception shift! I wish I stayed longer!

Tiago is very polite and tries his best! But I want to be honest. The conditions didn't work out for me. We didn't get beed sheets provided the way I know them. You don't have a lot if privacy in the bathroom. You can't close the toilets properly. And that one room for the volunteers is in very bad conditions. It's a mattress on the floor. The only thing that is included is the bed. No food. And for the work I didn't pay off for me.

For the very short amount of time I could see that Fiona is a very nice and kind person but I would have really appreciated her to have been honest when she told me why she wanted to leave, since she did not complaint about any of those things mention above but the reason given to me was instead that we weren't a party hostel and that was what she was looking for.
Starting with the conditions, I am very clear about how everything works when we talked on the phone, I do not hide anything from no one, I said the one room for one volunteer is a very small room practically just a bed in it and it is true that right now is just a mattress but I also said that at the end of March it was gonna be changed for a "proper" bed.
The way I provide sheets is by giving them clean for the guest/volunteer to put them on their own bed as they want, the bathroom has a door that can be locked if you want full privacy. And finally the job application has written what I offer, which is a bed and use of all the facilities and services of the hostel so not having food included should not be an issue because it was never offered to begin with.

I had a great time with Tiago & the other volunteers at the hostel :) Great location to be staying, right in the centre of town and nice and close to walk to the beaches.

The hostel and Lagos became my home for 1 month and it was definitely one of the best months of my life. The vibe in that place is wonderful, the hostel is small and quiet, has an excellent location, the most beautiful beaches and everything are close. The tasks at the reception are very simple to learn, and I also made very good friends inside the hostel. I left Lagos just because I already had other plans but I would love to return again. Bianca and Tiago are excellent hosts, thank you very much for everything :) Don't forget that you have a house and a friend in Mexico! :)

I recommend the hostel to everyone! Bianca and Tiago are great persons. Very easy going, friendly, great bosses and they welcomed me very well. The hostel is cozy, well located, organized, clean and with a good vibe. The work was very easy. Just clean the hostel and do some beds in the moorning. Which allows to have lots of free time to enjoy the beach and the city =D. We where in two volunteers, who became one of my best friend in Lagos. And I also made some good friendship with a few guests. Thanks for everything Bianca and Tiago! Missing Leia,the cutest dog S2

This was my second experience as worldpackers and it was really good! The hostel is great, clean and comfortable. The work schedule was wonderful, I was able to go every day to the beach and stroll around Lagos, a place too beautiful. Bianca and Tiago are amazing, friendly, polite, funny and very nice people! And there's Léia, a puppy full of love to give! Thanks so much to Rachel who volunteered with me here, a great company, we will leave here with great stories to tell! lol Big hug Bianca and Tiago, thank you very much for the experience, I loved it! thanks! Working at this hostel has been an awesome first worldpackers experience! The hostel is very clean, chill, and small enough that you get the opportunity to really connect with the guests staying here. Bianca and Tiago were awesome are both super friendly and caring, even bringing in soup when I got sick, and they do their best to make sure you get to enjoy your time in Lagos. I really appreciated them connecting me with the Volta de Mar guys for climbing, and had plenty of time for sightseeing and of course tanning at the beach :) Thanks for everything!!!!

I had a great time with Bianca and Tiago in Lagos I can't reccomened it enough such great host I felt at home straight away. Very chill tasks didn't interfere with experiencing the Lagos lifestyle get around these guys you won't regret it!! Thanks again you legends xox

It was the most incredible experience for me as a volunteer so far. Tiago and Bianca are amazing people, very patient, helpful and attentive. The place is amazing very clean, organized made me feel at home. We can use the bikes to explore the city and the beach, there are many things to do there and we have enough time for this. I loved my experience!
