I really enjoyed my time in the Center, it was an eye opening experience where I got to find myself and learn new things about myself, about how to live with other people since it was my first time living in a community, so it was hard to adapt at first, but once you do, you feel so grateful to be there. I got to meet people that I will always appreciate, they welcomed me with open arms, any disagreement we had, we were always able to talk about it. I would love to come back and feel the same peace that I felt in that month.

This is the 2nd time the Center opens it's doors for me, and I'm really glad for that. This is a very particular volunteering where you'll find out that the main impact is not on the daily maintenance tasks, but in the interactions with the people you live with. This place has specific schedules for morning routine all about maintenance, and 1 day off. You're also expected to controbuite with your own personal skills (literally whatever you have to offer) to improve the community lifestyle. Great for connect with the Center, learn Italian, make new friends, and put yourself out of the comfort zone.

The Center is an amazing place for people to come and experience a different rustic life in Italy. It straddles Buddhism and mental health, incorporating positive elements of both that aim to push people towards self acceptance, growth, and joy in their lives. It's a truly immersive experience. The days are structured so that everyone gets a job in the morning (breakfast/gardening/cleaning/kitchen etc), and a role for the afternoon (cleanup/coffee etc). Outside of that there are some great workshops that the people can attend. I've loved the Center and will certainly be back to help out! ❤️

I had an amazing time as my first trip solo traveling and I loved getting to live and grow with the people there. The environment is a great place to connect with yourself, others and learn more about lots of activities through workshops. If you're interested in meditation it's perfect for beginners or experienced and I had an amazing time, I would recommend.

The Center very quickly became a second home for me. I extended my trip by 2 weeks because I simply wasn't ready to leave, and I absolutely plan to revisit in the future. This place is perfect for beginner or experienced volunteers, and people who are open to giving and receiving a lot of love and generosity. If you are thinking about applying here, just do it, you will meet so many beautiful people and have the opportunity to do so much good for yourself and others. The Center is a unique community on Worldpackers. This was my first volunteering and I think it was the perfect definition for this activity: to give one's own time and knowledge and in return receive not only the facilities of comfort and lodging, but love, learning, and connections that will be a part of my life forever. Thank you for showing me how generous we human beings can be, and that you can build a family anywhere in the world if you look at it with love. Hope to meet again soon!

I spent 6 weeks at the Center I wish I could've spent 12. I absolutely fell in love with this place, I was immediately taken in like family everyone there is so wonderful. The work is very easy and manageable, if you have any talents, (music, baking, painting) be sure to make that known. I'm a baker and I was making cookies at least one a week for everyone! Sundays are free days and you can take day trips to Genoa Turin or Milan it's a great chance to see bits of Italy. Everyday at the Center was a good day, the food is so good, the people are so loving and the environment is beautiful❤️

I really don't know how to start... The last few months were beautiful <3 I sincerely felt at home and it was hard to leave. I met people that i can now easily consider as my family. They are all good people and i love them very much As a first volunteer experience i can't ask for anything better. I'm very happy to have found the Center <3
