One of the best possible experiences you could have in Oxford, maybe even in all of England. Greg, Nate, and Anthony are very flexible with your schedule and allow for all sorts of traveling around the country. The work is so easy you can get it all figured out within a month. I've met some incredible people here who will be life long friends, both fellow volunteers and guests. This is accomplished by our game nights, Sunday dinners, movie nights, seeing the town, everything. I don't think there is anything I would change about my experience here. 1000% recommend to anyone willing to come!

My experience at the hostel was unforgettable! I learned a lot, met amazing people from all over the world, and improved my English in a truly impressive way. The tasks were light and the flexible schedule allowed me to explore Oxford and take trips. The city is beautiful and full of history. The hostel's atmosphere was welcoming from day one - I felt at home, made real friendships, and lived unforgettable moments. I'm very grateful to Anthony for his care and support during this journey - he truly made a difference. I highly recommend this experience and would love to return one day!

I had a life changing three months at the hostel! It was the perfect experience to meet people from all over the world, gain useful work experience, explore the city, and make lifelong friends. The work isn't difficult and the shifts are very flexible to fit around your schedule and travel plans. The hostel is cozy and comfortable, easy to live in long-term and feels like home. Three months is a great length of stay, you get to develop deep connections and really get to know the hostel and work. Thank you Anthony for being a great manager too, will miss being part of the CB team!

Volunteer at CB is a great option to learn about hostel and team work, improve English and make friends. I enjoyed the activities they do like movie night, Sunday dinner or games night; it's an environment where you can socialize with everyone. They have a really good location just in the city center, so you can explore everything by walking (restaurants, pubs, clubs, mall, market and other stuff near by). About the work, they'll train you to da proper job in the hostel, the activities are okay and they're flexible with the schedule! The team was amazing, thanks for having me:)

The hostel is a good place to know Oxford and other nearby cities, the hostel is a good place with fun people that are always willing to help, it was definitely a good place for me and an experience that I will always remember, the tasks are not difficult at all and whenever you want you can agree on your days off. Mt experience in CB was such an amazing experience as my first volunteer. The team as incredible. We created awesome memories together. We made a home far from home. Was good to have a team that was always trying to help each others. I'll miss all of them. The tasks aren't difficult, it's a small hostel which makes easier, the schedule is very flexible, the location is good, and have spaces in the kitchen just for the staffs its a very good point as well. Was also good could share our ideas about little changes and create new events/ activities with the team and the guests.

The hostel was a huge surprise for me! The hostel is well located, the shifts are fairly distributed and completely flexible. You work in cleaning, housekeeping, reception or social media(if you like). The manager is open to new suggestions that can benefit the hostel and the volunteers. You get 3 to 4 days off. The hostel owners are a bit demanding.I had incredible moments that I will never forget! I made unexpected friendships that I can call family—people I will carry with me forever. The connection and cultural exchange are a unique experience. Thank you for everything, CB team!

My experience at the hostel was good. The hostel is very the hostel and days off were usually approved without problem. I didn't like the division between leaders and volunteers, as they mostly gave instructions or helped with basic tasks, but communication was always open with Antony and the team. I was always willing to support schedule changes or help where needed. I worked in cleaning, housekeeping, and reception. It helped me improve my English and gain cultural experience

I loved my time apart of the hostel Team and Family! From day one I knew what to expect as well as what was expected from me. Harry the manager was excellent with his communication from the very beginning. The team was always warm and welcoming, it was a great place to find some great connections. Thank you to the CB team!
