I loved volunteering at the hostel. Tony is great to work with...laid back but has a clear direction of what he wants done. It was in a great location in Cuenca as well with the best view in town.

Working with Tony at the hostel was great! I worked to set up an online platform for his new the hostel across the plaza, in addition to some basic reception tasks. He is a wonderful host with very clear hours and work deliniation, and was always available to answer questions as needed. There is a nice outdoor kitchen on the roof for staff to use, the bedroom was comfortable, and there were guests in and out so it never got too lonely. Overall, a truly wonderful experience that Id recommend to other volunteers.

Tasks are detailed per each shift. I did five hours of work for five days (2 days free). You will have a shared dorm and dinner (which, by the way, is vegetarian and so delicious). Tony is a very cool host who knows the city so well and will provide you with tips to enjoy your stay in Cuenca. Hostel environment is really quiet and I spent a very great time with the rest of the volunteers.
