The Experience
Somos un lugar tranquilo, para personas de disfrutan de un poco de paz. Siempre encontrarás espacios donde relajarte. Los turnos son: en la mañana ayudar con la limpieza de espacios comunes y en la noche recepción y doblar sabanas. Tu ayuda será de 20 a 25 horas semanales (5 horas diarias) y 2 a 3 días libres.

Working at the guest house was my first experience as a Workawayer, and I couldn't imagine a better start to my adventure! Thanks to the kind people who work there and the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere at the hostel, I felt very welcome. Even though I only speak beginner Spanish, it wasn't a problem because the whole team was very patient and understanding. The workload isn't very heavy and the hostel is in a great location, so working there really gives you the opportunity to get to know the city.

This was my first worldpackers volunteer experience and I am very thankful for how welcoming the staff were! Especially the receptionists, they were very flexible with swapping shifts or staying late if needed so that the volunteers could have the best possible experience in Valparaiso. I was here for a month and the expected tasks were very reasonable and simple. They didn't require too many hours for work so I had most of the daytime free to explore Valparaiso and surrounding cities. the guest house is a very quiet and peaceful the guest house in the heart of the city, nice place to return to after touring.

Hostel is really amazing place. the system is different , but i used to get and i really enjoyed to be volunteering in there, im totally would love to come back there in some case you cannot use the kitchen in the morning because its the workers are preparing a breakfast but when is not busy totally fine. A room where i stayed , just for 2 people , its kinda comfortable . mostly shifts was at evening . so you can enjoy the city a lot . or you can combine your online study /works . just one time in the weekends i needed help with rooms at morning Perfect place to stay in Valpo. I was happy

Valparaíso en un lugar hermoso para visitar y la Galería también se encuentra en una muy buena ubicación, disfrute mucho mi estadía, las tareas fueron fáciles y las chicas fueron todas muy amigables, recomiendo mucho la experiencia en La galería 🤗

El hostal está ubicado en la zona más turística de Valpo.Buen desayuno y otros alimentos a disposición. Se trabaja 3x3.El turno es 3hs en la mañana de limpieza y 2 en la noche de recepción. Hay flexibilidad,predisposición,autonomía. Extendí mi paso x aqui porque me sentí cómoda con mis compañeras y las tareas son sencillas a pesar de q a veces el hostal estaba completo. Sugiero un cambio de camas para las voluntarias!Pero la habitación es cómoda para compartir entre 2. Gracias al equipo por recibirme y acompañarme en mi paso por La Galería ❤️
