The Experience

We usually work between 9 am to 8 pm, but it depends on the day of the week and the work available, which would be helping our staff with; Gardening, Wood Cutting, Painting, Cleaning, Varnishing, Cabin Building, Cattle Feeding, among others. We are looking for people committed to help on a daily basis at our place. We are an international staff from different parts of South America, although sometimes there are only Chileans.

If u like to close to the nature, there is a beautiful Andes mountains view can watch and it changes ever day. Felipe and others workers and volunteers are nice, even I can not really speak Spanish, still patiently communicated with google translate! However, there is no hot shower and irregular water and power outages, could be a little bit hard during the winter time, but I think this is something part of mountain life, you just need to get used to it! After that you will feel yourself as a soldier, at least know how to make a fire!

Mi experiencia en the host Montaña fue un grato desafío para salir de mi zona de confort y disfrutar plenamente la naturaleza. Me voy muy agradecida con Carlos, Kim y Felipe que ante los inconvenientes que fueron sucediendo siempre estuvieron atentos y predispuestos a ayudar. Se brinda una canasta de alimentos que es muy variada, además de que Felipe siempre está consultando qué falta para complementar. El horario de inicio de trabajo es muy flexible y las tareas son variadas y acordes a la capacidad física de cada uno. Literalmente para desconectarse y descansar :)
