The Experience

Our hostel is a wooden lodge with a great atmosphere and stunning mountains, located in the woods but very close to the bus, shop, restaurant, and trails. We are looking for help with all tasks around hostel and our families like reception, cleaning, socializing with guests, babysitting my kids. We will ask you to work 1-2 days (17h) so that you have lots of time for yourself. We have last minute spot in July, join us!

I stayed at good bye the hostel at the beginning of the year and knew I had to come back to volunteer. It is super cozy with a couple friendly cats and great people! Marzena was very accommodating and friendly and the work was extremely fair. Highly recommend!!!

Since I stepped in at the hostel I felt like I was home. The cozy house is so warm bescuse its people. Marzena, the volunteers and the guests make of this hostel a very special place. The working hours were respected, and I had the chance to hike and explore the beautiful nature that surrounds the place. I certainly would love to come back. I had such a wonderful time at GBL. The work is straightforward and there is plenty of time to hike or spend your time however you like. The hostel itself is cozy and comfortable, and right across the street from an entrance to the National park. It's easy to take the bus into the hostel, and there is a small market close by so you don't always have to go to the center for groceries. Marzena is flexible and accommodating, and there are many other volunteers to hang out with, who made my time there really special.

It was the best experience I have ever had, Marzena is the best host! She cares so much about the place and you feeling comfortable. The hostel is really friendly, everyone is social and you can make friends for life very easily. And the place has the best hikes and nature really close. I really loved it. I hope I can go back soon!!
