Help with big house and garden

We want to say the biggest thank you to Annie, Pete and all of their family and friends for making the guest house and Ballinrobe feel like home. The Work was a breeze, Some jobs were obviously harder than others but nothing strenuous. The house is beautiful, a tad cold in the later months but absolutely wonderful. And the best part of all is the music and dancing ofcourse. At least 3 times a week we were invited to an outing of sorts, either a music session in the local pub or in Galway or dance nights held at the house. We would highly recommend and can't wait to return.

This is my first volunteer and I couldn't be more gratefull. I was scared becose this is my first time that traveling alone to another country, but Annie and Pet, and everybody in the house, make you feel part of their family. The task are easy and you are working whit other volunteers, so you have time to enjoy the culture and the nature. You can meet people from different countries and see films or play cards whit them. If you are doubtfull about coming here, don't think too much and just do it, because you won't regret it. This house is pure love!

It was an incredible experience. Annie and pete are wonderful people so they family and friends! I wouldn't hesitate to do this adventure again. Dancing irish sets, enjoying live music, swimming in the lake, getting relaxed with nature. Disconecting myself from the city polution and noise, working in the garden and learning many things. Sharing with different people including volunteers like you! I loved my time in the guest house! I feel so grateful to have had this opportunity

The experience at the guest house was really great. I had the chance to meet interesting people from all over the world, the presence of many musicians made the house full of energy. In addition, traditional dances were taking place which were very exciting. The work is not hard and the working hours are flexible. I recommend this experience!

Annie, Pete and all the people who lives there are wonderful people, who invites you to do everything, and if you are looking for an experience that immerses you in Irish culture, this is it. the dances are so fun and addictive. My experience at the guest house was unforgettable! It is a magical place, away from all that is the daily chaos. It was a month in which I breathed peace and learned a lot. Annie's family received me very well and they are all attentive, they include you in their activities, we had Irish dance together (which was very funny) and we even went several times to a nearby lake. On Sundays we always share with the family and we laugh a little outdoors. The work that is done is bearable and you can do it at your own pace. I met beautiful people that now they are life friends! ♡

I've stayed in the guest house for 1 month and half and what I found there was a very big and caring family. And you're part of it, having sometimes lunch or dinner together, going to the lake and having brunch, dancing etc.. I raccomend 100/100, if you like the countryside, music and dance and just want to have an amazing and new experience!

Staying at the guest house, was a period of time that I won't forget, the vibe of the people that are around doing music, dancing, talking, having lunch and dinner together or even going to the lake is what to travel means for me. There was always good communication in between our schedules and the activities to do around the house, nice walks to Ballinrobe, or small trips to Galway. Really thanks to Annie and Pete, kind people that make you feel at home. Looking forward to go back as soon as I can !
