I spent three great weeks at the hostel. Since it was low season, the work was very relaxed. In the mornings there was more to do, like making beds, but at night it was mostly waiting for late check-ins or serving drinks at the chill bar. The hostel is well located in the city center, but to get to the beaches it's better to take a bus. I volunteered with two other girls, which made the experience even better. I gave it five stars because I would definitely go back, maybe during a busier time of the year.

I loved my month in Crete and would 100% recommend volunteering at the hostel!! The hostel is super clean, cozy, and right in the heart of Heraklion. You'll quickly feel like a local. Yorgos and Maria are incredibly kind and welcoming. Yorgos genuinely cares about the volunteers and made sure our shifts were flexible so we had plenty of time to explore the island. The work was chill and easy, and I shared a room with the other volunteer, which was perfect! If you're considering volunteering in Crete, I can't recommend the hostel enough! Thank you for an unforgettable month — efharisto!

It was my first experience with Worldpackers volunteering, i highly recommand the hostel. The staff is amazing :) i will trully miss them : Yorgos, Maria, Karolina & Natasza were very welcoming. The tasks are easy to do & my schedule was very nice, doing mostly night shift :)

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! The owners are incredibly lovely, and the staff are wonderful. I had no problems communicating with team members during my time here and the accommodation was comfortable :) The room doesn't have very good air circulation though so was a bit warm (they worked to help with this) and there aren't any lockers :,) Hours are flexible and fair! The beds themselves were comfortable and the hostel had plenty of clean sheets and towels available! Thank you to the hostel Team!

I had an incredible experience at this hostel! The working hours are respected, the tasks are simple and easy to do, and the staff is super kind and always ready to help with anything you need. It's also a perfect place to socialize and make friends from all over the world. I truly recommend it 100%!

I would absolutely recommend this other travellers! The hostel is clean and cozy, the tasks are easy, the workload is not too heavy and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The volunteer's room could use a bit of improvement like a better ventilation system especially in the summer. Nonetheless it's a great place to meet lots of cool people and make new friends and I am super grateful for this experience :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it could not be better! The hostel is amazing along with the staff. The work is easy and chill and the hours were flexible. I met with many other travellers and locals as well. The hostel is clean and has a nice terrace and a huge kitchen. I highly recommend this experience and Crete stays in my heart forever! Thank you for everything <3

Best place for volunteering, thank you so much for such an amazing experience. Yorgos and Ioannis are the kindest people, they were really flexible with my shifts. The work was very chill and easy, I enjoyed every part of it. The hostel itself is the best hostel I've ever seen: spotless clean and comfortable showers, perfectly equipped kitchen, the rooftop was my favourite place. I shared a room with the other volunteer, just the 2 of us, which was perfect. We had a fan and enough place for our stuff. This was my first volunteering and i couldn't have imagined better. <3

I had a really great time at the hostel!! Pavlos and Yorgos looked after me so well and made me feel so welcome! The shifts were flexible if you want time to explore Crete and the work is easy. Crete is stunning and being in Heraklion makes it easy to see the whole island!! We also became friendly with locals having been there a month. Would absolutely recommend :)) Sometimes guests get you to sort things if you're not working, but that's the same anywhere if you live where you work. It's a family business so it's really fun getting involved in helping them out!
