The Experience

Come and join our wee fun-loving hostel family in the Capital of the Highlands! We're looking for superstar volunteers who enjoy a craic and can help us 24 hours per week (4 hours per day for 6 days). This is a mixture of morning, afternoon + night shifts, incl. making beds, cleaning the hostel and greeting lovely guests. In exchange you get free accommodation, laundry, breakfast, and food allowance so you can cook yourself lunch and dinner :)

The hostel is a wonderful, atmospheric place that's the perfect spot to base yourself for exploring the surrounding Highlands. I met many wonderful, interesting people during my 6 weeks there and had a great relationship with the rest of the team. The tasks and working hours expected of you as a volunteer are very fair, so you'll have plenty of free time to see all the charm and culture that the hostel offers. Thanks again to everyone who made my introduction to Scotland so easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience!

As my first experience, I can truly say it was amazing. I met so many great people, practiced both English and Spanish, and explored beautiful places surrounded by abundant nature. The hotel is simply wonderful. It made me feel at home from the very first day. It's super comfortable, and the hospitality from Jason, Eloise, and Gordon made everything even better. I really enjoyed my time here. It was a great group of people, and I had a lot of fun. You do only get one day off, so exploring can be a bit difficult. But overall, I had such a good time. You get to meet a lot of people, and the hostel is so welcoming. If you are thinking of going, you should!
