It was an amazing experience! To be able to talk everyday with locals was very special. You are able to learn a lot and in more detail the local customs and traditions, as well as day to day lives of normal people. Yuta was also great, always open to help and move things around if you wanted to change a shift with someone. The location is also amazing, 7 min walk from subway station, super close to Shinjuku (15min walk) and Shibuya (25min train), so it is easy to move around everywhere. Would highly recommend for anyone and everyone who is looking to meet locals.

The esperience is unique, meeting with local, having so much fun on the Friday party, the welcoming dinner... The house location is near by shinjuku, you can go there by foot, and is one of the best spot in tokyo for night life! I had a great time, everything was amzing, and unforgettable.

I loved volunteering at the coliving! it's a great way to meet locals and learn about Japanese culture, I would recommend it to anyone. The work is very relaxed, just chatting to customers for a few hours a day. The only downside would be maybe the accommodation would be a bit cramped for some people and may be dirty when volunteers arrive. But it's really worth it, I met some great people, both volunteers and customers. :)

My stay at the coliving was a dream come true!!! I've always wanted to visit Japan and I was able to afford it thanks to Yuta and his awesome operation. During my stay, I met so many wonderful locals and a few international residents of Japan. If you want to live in Japan someday, this would be a great start for you. Personally, I was inspired by my experience and will definitely return for a longer period some day :)

The café is really nice. The hours were given upon arrival. The job is to communicate with customers in (mostly) English 5 times a week. If unexpected things happen (like sickness) you might be asked to work on your days off (the only 2). I shared a room with 3 other girls, so there was absolutely no privacy and very little space. It's also not clean, and you are asked to clean it, when you leave. All in all I am happy I got to stay in Tokyo, and meet so many nice people. The job is interesting. I am thankful for the experience.

This was a wonderful experience! I got to meet a lot of local people and spend time with them, and also met a lot of new friends amongst the volunteer, who were all very good people. The experience at the coliving is a very good way of practicing your languages while learning more about the local culture. The whole staff in the coliving is very friendly, and you will feel at home during the stay. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to immerse in the culture and with the people

One of the best volunteering experiences I've ever done. The work is very relaxed, you meet a lot of good people, you connect a lot with the locals, and you learn a lot about Japan. Yuta, the person in charge of the place, is a super nice person. He understands if you need anything, he takes care of your needs and does a lot of good things in his café... besides being a good friend, he's a great leader! He knows how to take care of everyone and everything! Thank you Yuta for this opportunity. I'll definitely be back to visit this place.

I stayed at the coliving for a month. Unfortunately, my flight got delayed, causing me to arrive 3 days late, but Yuta was very understanding with the situation. I appreciated that a lot. The dorm I stayed in was shabby, but conveniently located, and with friendly roommates. With time I got more comfortable. The work was not hard, but it can drain your social battery, be prepared to talk a lot. Your shift schedule is fixed for the entire stay. Overall I had an amazing time because of all the amazing people I met! It was a unique experience I'd recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Tokyo for a while
