The coliving was a great way to meet locals and get to know Japanese culture . The customers and staff were so kind and I will definitely volunteer again . Fridays are free drinks for staff and a great way to go out and explore Tokyo at night . Yuuta provided accommodation as well as cleaning supplies for the house . One thing that could be approved is similar work hours for both world packers and work away . World packer people work 20 hours and work away work 15 hours . Overall , it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to volunteer in Tokyo .

Thank you for your review! Ppl from workaway doesn't have a Friday party shift, but they come for the party anyway so technically it's same. I rather take more ppl from Worldpackers.

I had a great experience at the coliving. Yuta is a great host he can assist with information about living and working in Japan and helps in anyway he can. The work at the coliving is enjoyable talking with people from Japan and all over the world. The Friday night party is a lot of fun. I would reccomend this experience to any travellers or working visa holders in Japan!

It was an amazing experience! I met a lot of people (local and foreigners), this is the perfect place to be around Tokyo, you have a lot of time to plan and da lot of activities and the time at the coliving is really good. This is the perfect place for people who likes to meet people and talk!

My time in the coliving was absolutely life-changing. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks fluent Japanese, Yuta-san is an angel and helped us with so many things even if he is very busy. Dorm conditions depend on fellow volunteers, we had our clean and had a ton of fun. Volunteers are responsible for their living space being clean. The Café work itself is also amazing if you are open to social contact. Mostly young Japanese guests that speak almost fluent English, so you can make friends and go out with the locals. The location is very convenient.

Even though it was my first volunteering experience abroad, it was amazing! The boss Yuta is very good and friendly (and also a good brownie maker), the house isn't huge but it's who you live there with that the magic is born, staying with the other staff members is like staying in a small family to go out , cook and chat together. The location is more or less in the center so the main attractions of Tokyo are not far away. the coliving is very relaxing, especially when you talk to the customers, in addition to chatting, you also learn more about the culture, the traditions. Good experience overall, Yuta is a good host and it's hard to beat the location of the sharehouse. It can be tiring speaking with customers at the coliving, but that's what I signed up for! Overall a great experience, Tokyo is WILD.

The coliving is a really cool the coliving and place to volunteer at! You come into contact with both people from all over the world and locals, something that can be hard to get an opportunity for otherwise. The conversations are 5 times a week for 4 hours at a time which can get a bit exhausting if you're an introvert so just keep that in mind! The sharehouse is in a great location close to Shinjuku which makes it quite easy to get anywhere. Yuta was very accommodating and took us to interesting places/events. I ended up extending since I was enjoying it so much here. So definitely recommend!

Volunteering at the English the coliving was an amazing experience! I had the chance to meet wonderful people, enhance my understanding of different languages, and even learn some new ones. Yuta is a very nice host and made me feel like part of the family from day one. I truly appreciate this enriching experience and definitely look forward to coming back in the future!
