The hostel is a small and very family-like hostel located in a perfect location to explore Budapest. The shifts were easy to handle and you could ask questions anytime. Timetable for the next week was only published Sunday but they were flexible with your wishes in case you wanted a few days off in a row. Overall I felt welcomed most of the times and recommend it as a first volunteering experience :)

This hostel is fantastic! I went during off season but we were still fully booked most weekends. We arranged activities during the weekend. We had some cozy dinners with the guests and quiz/game night that were superduper fun!!! If you want a calm yet social hostel that gives you freedom to see this beautiful city then this is THE PLACE for you!! I loved it so much and will definitely come back for more volunteering during spring and summer🥰

The Hostel is very chill and cozy and even if there's not many people it's a good place to explore the city and really enjoy Budapest. Everyone was very talented and it was very easy to relax even when working because of the help of everyone else. I totally recommend this place if you would like to have a good chill time in Budapest!

I adored my time at the hostel. Alex, Arwin, and the other volunteers made the month that I spent in Budapest incredible. The hostel has a great vibe — both the guests and the other volunteers made it really feel like a family. The work was not difficult, and someone is always available to help you when you need it. Budapest is a great city & the hostel quickly became my home away from home. I completely recommend this experience to everyone, you will not regret it!

This place is perfect in so many ways for people who really want to share with others and is open to learn and to suit for the time you're staying. Alex is a wonderful host, also the volunteers team are so welcoming and easygoing. And the hostel is a real definition of what a hostel life is! But I think there's a place for each of us and for personal convictions I couldn't complete my experience there, that I'm pretty sure it would have been wonderful in another stage of my life :) Thank you for receiving me, Alex.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have picked a better place. the hostel felt like home thanks to Alex, Arwin and the other volunteers. The atmosphere in the hostel is always great, you get to meet new people everyday and make really good friends. The work there is easy and you can always count on Alex and Arwin for help. The other volunteers became my family, and the guests were always super nice, too! I would love to come back some day and I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone!! Alex and Arwin are super wholesome hosts. They ask you every week if you have some special days you want off and the work was suuuper easy. Only 3 shifts a week and the hostel is located pretty much in the centre of Pest which was also suuuper useful 🥰 all the guests are soo cute and it is a pleasure to spend my summer here! I can only recommend :)

I'd absolutely recommend this position at the hostel! It really feels like a volunteering, because Alex & Arwin are always around to help you, when there's something to do! The hostel itself is the right balance between quiet and socializing! You will never feel alone. Meeting other travelers is very easy, because everybody I met was very open-minded. My only small suggestion of improvement is the small volunteers-room, and the fact that there are only two fans and no Air-Condition, but as far as I know Arwin is already working on that! :)

The hours are respected and they're flexible which is great for who's traveling. You're gonna have a lot of free time on the days you work in the morning shift. The tasks are cleaning and taking care of reception, so sometimes is tiring but sometimes it can be chill. Overall I had a great time, Budapest is such an amazing city and I felt very welcomed since the beginning! Alex and Arwin, thank you for everything :) The only thing is that the staff room is small to fit everyone, so don't bring a lot of stuff!

I loved my time at the hostel! The staff here feel like family. The days you work can be long but it's only 2 days a week, so it's a great balance with being able to do other things on all of your days off. The work is easy. It may not be the most social hostel in terms of activities, but you have the option to run activities yourself and cook family dinners if you want to! The vibe is v chill. The location is awesome. My only regret is not staying longer, cause one month feels too short :( if you have any questions, pls feel free to message me!! :)
