I had such a great 6 weeks at the hostel! The hostel is small but so friendly and you really get to know the guests and other volunteers. Arwin and Alex are so lovely and made me feel welcomed straight away. The shifts are exactly as described and split fairly between the volunteers, with loads of free time to explore the city. I would absolutely love to come back in the future and highly recommend to other volunteers!

This hostel has a warm and familiar atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. It successfully maintains an active and lively environment, which is quite an accomplishment considering its maximum capacity is just 26 guests. The tasks assigned during your shift are straightforward and manageable, and the managers often lend a helping hand, making the workload even lighter. The staff are friendly and supportive, promoting cleanliness and ensuring that the hostel is always in top-notch condition. With rotating shifts of just three days per week, you have plenty of free time to explore.

The hostel is amazing! I had a really good time! The work was easy and Alex and Arwin will explain everything clearly and are always there if you need help or have questions. I did only 3 shifts a week. The other days were filled with fun activities, going out or chilling at the hostel. I met so many amazing people, both guests and other volunteers. I totally recommend doing this. Budapest is such a nice city, you'll never get bored! You'll never forget your time here! Thanks everybody, I'll miss you 🌶️❤️

I stayed almost one month at the hostel and had a great time ! The staff were welcoming and kind and the others volunteers amazing. The work shifts are simple and chill as it was describe. You will do the announced hours and have plenty of time to explore that beautiful city. The hostel is perfectly located, near the city center and one minute by feet from the tram and metro. So if you are looking for a comfy place where you can meet travelers and feel like at home go for it ! Maybe more daily activities could be organized however. Thank you for your hospitality.

My time at the hostel was amazing! I made so many friends, with the other volunteers and with the guests. The work is easy, and the schedule is really flexible. And it is up to you to decide whether you want to party, have a chill movienight, make a puzzle, or play some beerpong! Budapest is an awesome city with so much to do and so much to see! I would definitely recommend this experience!

This was a very good first volunteer experience! The staff and volunteer team were friendly, making a little family. The work is simple, the hours and shifts are as described. I would note the organization of the hostel could be better. As a small hostel, the social atmosphere can vary-sometimes energetic and fun, other times it felt like there were more volunteers than guests. They've just started doing some social activities which should help. Overall, my time at the hostel was good. I recommend it to anyone looking for a small, friendly place to volunteer. I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and at home. It's like living in a shared apartment with friends, with friendly guests coming and going. Everyone is incredibly kind and always ready to help, creating a true family atmosphere. The work shifts are relaxed and adaptable, making it feel more like a fun activity than actual work. My time at the hostel has been one of the best months in my life so far. From the second I got to the hostel I got that family feeling. Alex and Sergio were great bosses and such nice people. On top of that, everything that was expected from you was clearly communicated, plus I had a lot of time outside of work to travel to other places and explore the city. I honestly wish I could've spent more time here because it's truly been an amazing experience, I highly recommend to anyone thinking of volunteering at the hostel.
