The Experience

If you wish, you can learn how to cook tajines, gamilla, couscous and other traditional Moroccan dishes, and we will all cook together for the volunteers and for ourselves :) Every day one or two people can cook, and each day/each meal we will shift. We cook three meals a day and eat all together. During cold nights we eat inside, warm nights outside while enjoying the sunset! Besides cooking, volunteers will help in other general work.

Said and Linde are wonderful people – incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate. I had such a great experience staying with them. The work was quite simple and mostly consisted of daily tasks like harvesting, cleaning, and helping with cooking. The heat is no joke, so sunscreen and drinking a couple of liters of water a day are your best friends! Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

This volunteer experience was truly special. Linde and Said are incredibly kind and always take the time to explain everything in detail. The tasks were fun and I really admire how they manage to handle so many different responsibilities at once, without ever making you feel left out. I would highly recommend this place, because it offers valuable insights into their way of life and provides a meaningful learning experience for yourself too.

I have been welcomed with open arms. Despite the many responsibilities that Said and Linde carry on a daily basis, they still manage to find the time to get to know you personally and to be very accessible. I admire their vision, goals and hearts of gold. I got to know fantastic people, I got to know myself better, I got to know a different lifestyle,... I laughed a lot, learned a lot and, above all, I was able to grow as a person. Extremely grateful for this experience!
