My time at the hostel far exceeded my expectations. The hostel itself is beautiful, and so were the rooms, the garden, the bar and the people:) The schedual was concise and fair, and the work was fairly simple and often fun. The volunteers stayed in a small house across the garden which was lovely though the hostel WiFi didn't extend that far. My stay at the hostel was all around amazing with plenty of new experiences and wonderful memories. I would recommend it to anyone, and will definitely be back!

My experience at St the hostel was my first experience as a volunteer. Everything was just perfect. The hostel is wonderful, among the most beautiful I've ever seen. I have shared my experience with wonderful people 🥲 The work has always been easy and the staff helpful and friendly. The volunteer room is the only thing that could be little better, I would have appreciated Wi-Fi in the room,but it is not really important for the experience! Definitely recommend 🫶🏻 Muito Obrigada!

Shame I couldn't stay longer, I would probably end up extending to eternity. Volunteering at the hostel exceeded my expectations! The overall working and living environment is wonderful - hostel is gorgeous, garden peaceful, bars (two!) open and the work simple, fair and sometimes even fun. We lived in cute little house located at the back of the garden and we had avocado trees (two!), but unfortunately no wifi in our room, which was the only issue. However the best part of the experience were people of course - fellow volunteers, staff, guests. ❤️ Obrigada for having me!

It was my first WP experience as a volunteer. From the beginning to the end, everything was clear and structured. The staff was friendly and the management is professional and generous. The work itself is easy and after work, you will still feel energetic to do something after a short siesta. :) My friends I worked with made my experience, more fun and memorable. The guests are polite and friendly. It was great to have the chance to socialize and participate in activities together with them during work or on your off days! I feel lucky to have had a wonderful experience in the hostel.

I enjoyed every second as a volunteer at the hostel. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and the work was simple and fair. The hostel itself was beautiful and had a super nice garden, common areas and facilities. My fellow volunteers and I had access to free wifi at the hostel, but sadly not in our housing area, which was a minor disappointment. I am very grateful for the experience and the people i met during my time at the hostel! Would definitely recommend.

I've had a great time in the hostel the hostel. Everyone from the staff was friendly and caring and the work I did was very appreciated. I have been living in a little house in the garden (with avocado and lemon trees and a lot of sun during the day). For a while our bathroom didn't work which sucked but we could still use the ones in the hostel. Would have been great if the generally good wifi would have reached our house (but this did not really do much to the experience). It was especially nice to be a group of volunteers so we could share a lot during my time here.

Beautiful hostel with great people. Nico was very accommodating and helpful. There is a garden bar in back that is for sure the nicest I've ever seen in a hostel. Jealous of any future volunteers that will be here in the summer! Thanks for everything!

Despite having to leave early for personal reasons, I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel! The staff and other volunteers were super lovely and easy to get along with, and it was so cool having a separate room for just volunteers in the garden. The work was straightforward and easy, and left plenty of time to explore the hostel. Also, the hostel is located perfectly - right next to the metro station, some great viewpoints, thrift shops, and great cafes and bars.

Overall the experience was good, the hours were respected, and the volunteer house was OK although it is quite small for 10 people, and there's no locks on the bathroom. As the other volunteers said some tasks like housekeeping and bar can be kinda rough. It's a big place and not the most welcoming one, and it doesn't really got that "hostel vibes" we expect. If you forget even the smallest of tasks you may be called out in front of everyone in the whatsapp group, wich can be a little demeaning. As the others said the best part is really meeting the other volunteers!

My experience was good, the best part is getting to create close friendships with the other volunteers! There were a few issues with the volunteer room my first 2 weeks but it was super easy to communicate with the managers and get it resolved. One con is housekeeping, it's a lot of work and during the middle of the day (11am-4pm), I think sometimes the housekeeping staff forgot that we are volunteers. One tip is use your free time wisely it goes by so quick, make the most of the beaches and activities nearby! Overall it was great and unique experience!
