I lucked out again finding a new home away from home in Tallinn! This hostel is a vibe, the staff became my family, and the guests were great to get along with. I will miss this place dearly, and look forward to coming back!

Working at Imaginary Hostel was amazing. The scheduling is flexible and great, working three 8 hour shifts / wk allows you plenty of time to explore the city and near by countries (Helsinki across the channel or St. Petersburg a few hours East). The staff are absolutely amazing - fun, kind, and caring. The facilities are clean. And the staff pantry has a wide variety. They will also accommodate you if you put in a special grocery request. I miss imaginary hostel, thanks for having me.

I loved my time volunteering there, everyone at the hostel (volunteers, staff and the hosts, David, Mario and Hugo) made me feel at home. The hostel is very well located, the infrastructure is excellent, the work is very smooth. I really recommend it, because that 1 month I felt like part of the team. This experience was certainly rewarding..

I spent 4 weeks working mainly on Imaginary but also a few times on Lai 22. It was my first official experience in hostels and volunteering through a platform, and it was very interesting to be on the other side of the counter this time. I only have gratitude to the managers, volunteers and workers of the hostel, for the trust, flexibility, patience, smiles, shared moments and the possibility of listening to life stories that invite reflection. There is a very good group and work environment, predisposed and prepared for contingencies. Thank you so much!

Thoroughly recommend. Tallinn is one of the most beautiful places I've visited. Medieval culture is alive and present. At the hostel, Mario and Nico are super helpful and communicate well with the volunteers. I made great friends and lived great and unforgettable experiences!

My time at imaginary hostel was amazing! I met some really great people, both volunteers and travelers staying at the hostel. The work is very fair and exactly as described, 24 hours a week of 3, 8 hour shifts. The cleaning shift is a split shift (11-2 & 6-11) this gives you time to eat and take a break. The nearest supermarket is only about a 5min walk from the hostel and the city center is also very close. I enjoyed my time at imaginary and will miss it.

We had a great time in Tallinn, met lovely people and the work is not hard (and you have plenty of free time). The downside is the dorm, especially if you're doing the night shift. It is a 16 bed dorm and some people don't seem to care about other people sleeping, which makes it difficult when you want to recover from your night shift. Otherwise the experience was good and we would recommend it!
