The Experience

We are looking for motivated volunteers who would like to help us take care of our guests at Lake Garda. Your support will be essential in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone. The work is organized in shifts: Breakfast shift: For one week, you will be responsible for setting up the breakfast area, arranging food on the table, cleaning dishes, cups, and tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the breakfast area. My experience was great. It's such a nice hostel, also super social. I recommend if you're extroverted. Tasks can be a little all over the place (bar, breakfast, cleaning kitchen/ rooms), and the hours are a bit longer than other worldpackers, but how good the hostel is and the location makes up for it. It's a fast pace and can be stressful in high season, so being a hard worker is a plus. It's a 7 minute walk to the lake/beach and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. It's a gorgeous area and there's so much to see on the lake. Overall i had so much fun and am so grateful to everyone <3 :)

It was a good experience volunteering here, the people you meet are amazing. Sometimes the work can get heavy, but they always respect your working hours. Something super positive is that they give you good discounts on drinks at the bar. The people are very friendly when they are out of their working hours, because when they are working they can be very stressed and don't have the best attitude.
