The Experience

We are a large finca with 25 beds for hostel guests and 3 separated houses for more private groups. We are located in Tejeda, in the middle of Gran Canaria, about 1200 meters high. The landscape is amazing, if you want to be away from the city, surrounded by mountains and nature you will already enjoy your time here and be glad for yourself to spend time at our place.

Had an abosultely amazing time at the Finca. Claudio was a great manager who made us feel welcome and included as well as supported throughout our stay, he is a legend. There was a nice variety in tasks with opportunties to learn new skills as well as focus on tasks that we were more comfortable with. The working hours were more than reasonable and the free time provided was generous. With the amount of free time there is plenty of opporutnity to explore the local regaion as well as travel across the rest of Gran Canaria.

My partner Austin and I spent a month at the Finca and absolutely loved our time there! Everyone was so welcoming and the accomodation was excellent and clean. The location is remote but there are buses and the landscape is amazing. The food was incredible and we also learnt lots of new cooking skills. The manager Claudio was awesome and really accomodating. He was super flexible and understanding and always tried to take into account the preferences of the volunteers where possible. We felt very supported by Claudio and the whole volunteer team (special shout out to Luca, Ale and Davide!).

I have no words to describe this amazing experience. The place is amazing, a little bit out of hand but so relaxing, the people i met will stay forever in my heart talking about guests of course but even more the staff. I felt part of the family since the first moment. I'm not saying that it was all gold, because we had hard times too, but I took them as a way of growth and laughts and huggs have been always the solution for everything. Muchas gracias chicos, gracias Finca.

My experience at the Finca was really good! Like every situation in life there's ups and downs but overall was pretty good. Claudio is doing a good job as a manager and the team of volunteers team feels like family, I was there for 2 months and would stay even more if I could. Recommend it!
