Staying at Santiago was a great experience! I felt at home the moment I arrived. The team was made up of other international volunteers and we all worked really well together. Everyone was friendly and always ready to help each other out. We spent a lot of time together, went to the beach, had a takoyaki night, etc.! The tasks (mostly cleaning) were easy, and we had a set schedule, so we didn't work every day and had plenty of time to explore Hiroshima and the surrounding areas. The location is bonkers, too. You get to meet lots of international and Japanese travelers. Thank you, Santiago! :))

This was me and my boyfriends first workpackers job and we absolutely adored it. We met people from all around the world that were guests and also working. We fell absolutely in love with everyone we met. The work was so easy and the location was amazing!!!

The Santiago Guesthouse was a super cozy and fun place. I had an awesome time with the other volunteers and coworkers. The hours were super reasonable. So all in all a 10 out of 10 experience. Would love to come back someday.

I had a great time with Santiago Guesthouse as my first Worldpackers experience!! The work was relatively simple and quick, and the first few days were spent training to learn the ropes. Days were flexible between volunteers, so I was also able to explore both Kyushu and Shikoku and even got to do the Shimanami Kaido on my time off. It was a great place to meet with other international travellers and locals. The team are lovely and I'd recommend Santiago Guesthouse to those who want to stay the hostel while explore the city and surrounds!

Absolutely amazing experience! The guesthouse is comfortable and has great vibes - both from staff and guests. The work is fair and gives you a lot of time to explore the city, and the location is very central. Met some amazing people, such as the girls from South America (Chile, Argentina and Colombia) and even a guy from the Philippines (a big hug to Mario!). 11/10 recommendation.

It was really fun to see so much people from all kinds of background come to this guesthouse and interact with each other in the common room. Had a lot of fun and a lot of unexpected activities.

One of the best volunteer experiences so far! There is a great team spirit, I'm sure if I ever went through any issue or problem everyone would gladly help! The work is more than fair for the conditions provided! Hiroshima is a very beautiful place with a lots of beautiful spots nearby! Can totally recommend this activity :)

My experience at Santiago Guesthouse was really great! The work is simple and usually, it took never longer than 2 hours to finish all the tasks. The staff and the other volunteers are very kind and made me feel welcomed and at home :)) Also, the guesthouse is very close to all the touristic places, which is good. I even decided to extend my stay here because I loved it so much !!

I had the best time at Santiago Hiroshima. I was blessed with the best group of people to work with and become friends with. Every moment was amazing. There was no barrier between helpers and workers making making friends super easy, with everyone organising lots of group activities and outings. Its a super supportive environment. The work it's self was simple and well explained. They were very accommodating and communication was never a problem I can't recommend them enough, there's a reason they have a high return rate of helpers. I miss the gang already and can't wait to go back one day
