The Experience

Trabalhamos com hospedagem e restaurante em Delfim Moreira. Precisamos estar sempre prontos para receber hóspedes e clientes no nosso espaço. Os voluntários ajudam a manter o espaço limpo e preparar as suítes, cuidar das áreas externas (horta e jardim), alimentar os animais. Fora essas tarefas básicas, os projetos são diversos e acontecem de acordo com a necessidade de cada momento (construção, reparos, pintura, art...)

I really enjoyed my time at the guest house! It's absolutely beautiful up in the mountains and it really felt like you were getting a break from the chaos of big towns and cities. I was meant to stay for 2 weeks but ended up only being able to stay for 1 week due to personal reasons… Cristiano was super understanding though and very accomodating to these changes in dates. The work was fair and super straightforward, so no complaints there. Would definitely recommend to anybody who feels like getting off the grid and back in touch with nature :)

I want to thanks Cris and Marie for accepted me in the hostel, my experience was really fun, I met amazing people and made friendships, I went hikings and beautiful waterfalls, I loved the firepits moments where we gathered and played some random songs. The place and the hills views are amazing, I stayed in the hostel Roça in most of my stay in Delfim, there are a good structure and it's so peaceful. But keep it mind that you have to be proactive and have a nice communication for this kind of volluntter, because the hours and tasks are not fixed.

Cristiano made everything to make me comfortable and helped me find my way to the hostel. Even tho we were only 3 volunteers, we went on hikings, did some yoga classes for 55reals/class, went to see some waterfalls… We worked for 4-5 hours which honestly didn't feel like working ! We cleaned, painted the walls and did some diy. The people were extremely welcoming and friendly even tho I don't speak any Portuguese I already miss the puppies and the breathtaking landscape. Thank you for everything !!

Delfim Moreira és una ciudad chiquita y simple pero con mucha hospitalidad y gente muy agradable. Le recomendo visitar este lugar a los viajeros que disfruten de conocer locales, y comer comida c/ ingredientes producidospor la misma gente. Cris y Marie son excelentes anfitriones, tuve un problema con una alergia e inmediatamente Marie se ofrecio a llevarme al pueblo para ver al medico. Las tareas son de limpieza y arreglos en general, además los anfitriones están abiertos a la comunicación y se pueden hacer sugerencias. Un placer por el tiempo compartido!! recomiendo muuuuucho

Este es el mejor lugar al que alguien puede llegar. Mi experiencia con Cris y Marie fue excelente. Son personas muy atentas y respetuosas. Desde el inicio me sentí bienvenida y las tareas fueron siempre claras y justas. El ambiente es tranquilo, humano y lleno de buenas energías. Aprendí mucho y disfruté cada día en su proyecto. Pudimos apreciar toda la comunidad y convivir con locales que llenan la experiencia del voluntariado. Se dusfruta tanto que nosotros nos quedamos un poco mas. Los recomiendo ampliamente a cualquier voluntario que busque una experiencia auténtica y positiva.
