Staying there was a really great experience ! Work is pretty easy and only 2 to 3 hours per day maximum ! So lot of free time to enjoy Naha and the island ! Also always have 2 days of in a row so it's very convenient. And the hostel is near transportation and lively area. Mei is such a good manager, always reactive and ready to help ! The entire team was super friendly and kind we go to eat together and made some gyoza Definitely a great place to stay ! Maybe the only things to think about, is that you will be with all guests so sometime it could be little bit noisy as there is a lot bed

I stayed at the hostel for 1 month. The team was very friendly and welcoming, and had travellers from around the world. The work hours were very fair and had the whole day to do other things

Great hostel in a very good location in Naha, close to bus, beach, shopping street and groceries. The team and management is amazing, I'm very sad to leave my Okinawa-family!

I had a wonderful time at the hostel - even during rainy season and being in a city the people at the Guesthouse made it worth it. The work is fair and everyone helps each other out, which I really appreciate. I felt really welcome and comfortable here and definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you Mei, Mimi, Shou and all other staff and volunteers for this great experience!

The staff is really nice and always here to help you especially the manager ! The manager tries to respect your wishes for the schedule and gives you enough time to go to the islands (which are very beautiful). The location is great to get to the port and the airport. The work is very detailed but quite straightforward. You can meet plenty of people in the common room and there's a good vibe in general in the hostel ! It's a great place to volunteer at.

The hostel has an ideal location in Naha and all the staff is super friendly. Work was easy and only took a few hours a day, so I had a lot of free time to enjoy Okinawa. The common room is always lively and I was able to meet and befriend a lot of interesting people both Japanese and from abroad. Bear in mind that the rooms (24 beds) are shared with guests not only with other workers, nonetheless the space is comfortable.

Most days, the cleaning is only for 2 hours / 2 hours and half. The maximum I did was 3 hours. Each person is giving a floor to clean (bed + toilet and bathroom OR kitchen/living room) and once you're finished with your task, you have to help others with their floor. I was helped a lot by other volunteers (thank you!). You definitely gets lots of free time and since you start at 11am, you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. I also liked how clean the place is, the materiel to clean is good, and the organization is really convenient. Thank you for the experience ! :)

It was a pleasure! The work was as agreed, even though it was quite busy at the time. The communication is good, Mei is super organised and takes care of everything immediately. Living in the guesthouse has the usual advantages and disadvantages: you get easily in touch with other people, but of course you have little privacy. The team is very welcoming and makes living there easy :) Okinawa is fantastic and I also really liked Naha as a city. I would come back anytime! Thanks for everything :)

The team at the hostel are so incredibly welcoming, fun and supportive. The work is quick and easy, with everyone working together to finish everything then we would hang out and get lunch afterwards. There were regular lunches and dinners together with late night games and lot of shenanigans! Okinawa itself is beautiful too, with lot to go see and do and lots of good food to eat. I have to fully recommend going to the hostel, you will not regret it! :)
